 Working as a team player in Command Center which keeps constant vigilance over our critical customer hosted networks, applications and Infrastructure.
 Proactively monitor business critical systems and applications, analyze alerts and effectively escalate to support and to Senior Management.
 Ensures that issues are responded to and that normal service operations are restored as quickly as possible.
 Reviews and revises incident management processes, policies and escalation procedures on a regular basis to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in responding to issues.
 Monitoring core network and customer base, proactively troubleshooting and contacting Customer Support teams and support staff when service goes down.
 Tracks and monitors customer performance and takes action to escalate performance issues to service leads.
 Respond to request for assistance from Internal Departments, or other support staff working on behalf of our customers.
 Providing 1st level technical support for 800 plus physical and virtual servers, systems and application, firewall and network equipments.
 Keep internal customers informed of any problem or scheduled downtimes using change management procedures to meet committed SLAs.
 Clearly, accurately, and concisely articulate problems and symptoms when escalating issues and document efforts in the ticketing system.
 Support and respond to service outages or other incidents.
 Backup, Restoration, Monitoring through Symantec Netbackup console.
