1- Management/Strategic:Plan, organize, conduct and control the guarding operations of the zone in accordance with laid down branch policy, ensure effectiveness of guarding operations and contractual obligations are being met, ensure site and post instructions and procedures are being implemented., Maintain necessary liaison with the client contact, Spot the security weakness of the assignments and take timely action to resolve it, Up gradation of security, keeping in view change in internal factor or security situation, Supervising the day to day operations at the assignments sites and ensuring that deployed guards are, Assist the Branch Manager / Operation Manager to meet company, branch, and individual and team performance targets measured through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
2- Financially: Reduce and prevent possibility of loss of profitability at customer sites and Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs and claims for overtime are checked to ensure accuracy and justification and kept to an absolute minimum.
3- Legally: Ensure that the contract is signed and other terms and agreement are made before deployment of the guards, ensure that the existing law of land is thoroughly understood while handling the criminal and incident at the site, In the event of incident or working in the incident site the knowledge of criminal law will be helpful for further investigation and educate the operation staff and the security officers about the power of arrest by the private security. Like a citizen can be arrested if he personally sees the offence being committed; he cannot arrest on suspicion or information supplied to him
4- Health and safety: Safety of each individual employee of the G4S will be the first priority and ensure that the safety and security of the assignments (site) under the Branch are the first and foremost responsibility of the company.
