* Analyze the profitability for the existing products by calculating the profitability margin and comparing it to the benchmark.
* Determine the company's ability to sell the products in the new target markets by analyzing the impact of the proposed price on profitability.
* Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, or manufacturing methods to determine effects on the product's cost.
* Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing actual costs to standard production costs.
* Assist in preparing the annual master budget.
* Assist in preparing budget revision reports (i.e. 4+8 & 8+4)
* Analyzing the new product's BOM and determine its impact on profitability .
* Ensure spending is kept in line with the budget while trying to cut costs and maintaining quality
* Control and monitor project total expenditure to ensure that all costs are captured and properly recorded.
* Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring.
* Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PM team as and when required.
*Prepare periodic financial reports, including budgets, variance analysis and commentaries.
* Analyze financial performance and so contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
* Maintain and update internal accounting calendar, including all pertinent time sensitive deadlines.
* Monitor and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
* Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
* Review and reconcile sales quantities shown on the sales invoices with those shown on the weight slip warehouse documents, and shipping documents (e.g. Bill of lading).
* Recording sales invoices data into the ERP system.
* Recording sales revenues (both cash and credit) in the ERP system on a daily basis.
* Reconcile sales revenues by the end of each month and report the results of sales transactions to MRI's financial controller and CFO.
* Review payment vouchers and reconcile them to the supporting documents (Purchases Requisition forms, Purchase orders, receiving reports, inspection reports, and shipping documents).
* Approve payments to be paid either by checks or cash from the treasury department.
*Follow up cash payments to suppliers and creditors.
*Recording daily expenses in the master file of expenses to be reported to CFO and CEO on a daily basis.
*Review monthly payroll that is prepared by the payroll and HR departments and review of deductions, additions withholdings and any change in pay rates.
*Approve payroll to be paid by the treasurer.
*Recording payroll in the ERP system.
*Controlling costs and identifying areas with increasing costs.
*Identify reasons for increasing cost, initiate and follow up cost reduction procedures.
*Design and implement a master budgeting system for the company as a means of controlling costs and compare actual results to standards and report variances to management with reasons and ways to improve performance.
