ensuring the Expert post "Maintenance Workshops" within the framework of the detailed preliminary study of the central workshops of SNIM in Zouerate mauritania:
a) Review of the basic documents of the initial study with particular regard to:
i. The workstations in the different workshops
ii. The vehicular traffic plan and the circuits between cars, tracks and Mining machines; the access roads to the mining machine and vehicle workshops, link between vehicular traffic, machines and rail;
i. The technical program in the workshops, the needs and location of the different utilities (Water Supply, Compressed Air, Lubricants and Oils),
ii. The layout plan and the links between the various workshops and stores
b) Participate in the data collection mission, visits to existing workshops and work and summary meetings with the Client to:
i. Collection of basic documents and development of the technical program of the workshops
ii. The list of equipment (existing and to be acquired) to be maintained in the planned workshops with precision of the types and characteristics of this equipment
iii. The different types and characteristics of heavy machinery
iv. The various repair, maintenance and overhaul operations to be carried out in future workshops
v. Any machining operations to be carried out
vi. The weights of equipment to be handled for repair and/or maintenance (motors and various mechanisms) and/or confirmation of the maintenance means program (overhead cranes, hoists, etc.)
c) Participate in the architectural and technical design during the architectural design phase

Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests

Perform vehicle registration, insurance and CHP formalities and documentation regarding induction of new vehicles in existing fleet.

Maintain and monitor data management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.

Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.

Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system with assistance of Fuel Cards for all vehicles and drivers.

Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in industry.

Plan, process and execute vehicle purchase and vehicle replacement through efficient settlement.

Plan and prepare annual budget, expenditures and analyze all financial objectives.

Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to manage entire fleet to achieve company objectives.

Supervise day-to-day maintenance and repairs of vehicles and facilities

Supervise off-site facility/fleet maintenance for contract services

Recruit, interview, test and recommend the hiring of all maintenance staff and drivers;

Train and organize training of technical staff and drivers as needed for specialized fleet needs

Cooperate with fleet coordinator to prepare route planning

Schedule preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimum vehicle performance and availability

Identify and recommend the acquisition/purchase of special equipment and tools

Ensure safety practices meet or exceed safety standards

Coordinate with the General Manager to develop a budget for the department.

Document all personnel activities.

Maintain transit property and prepare reports

Establish technical documentation of tenders

Maintain knowledge and utilize all fleet information and user surveys to forecast new requirements.

Managing and controlling the activities of the labor force and the workflow practices of all workshop staff to ensure maximum performance and efficiencies

Managing Downtime and effective labor / fleet disponibility

Constantly study the workflow and practices of the labor force, identifying areas where changes or implementation of new procedures will be of benefit

Provide positive motivation to all team members within the labor force section so as to ensure an ongoing positive work environment at all times

Ensure ALL workshop activities are well conducted at all times and all personnel are fully aware of applicable standards

Completing the required reports/results appropriately and on time as required
