• Manage a team of 4 market research officers and fieldworkers responsible for data collection in Kuwait and KSA.
• Provide recommendations upon the Consumer Studies analysis and findings (Product Enhancement Studies).
• Conduct and supervise ABYAT’s Net Promoter Score (NPS) report and provide recommendations to the top management.
• Execute and manage ABYAT’s Mystery Shopping questionnaire and report.
• Provide ideas and recommendations to improve ABYAT’s customer experience.
• Analyze customers’ purchasing behavior across ABYAT’s categories and provide insights and recommendations.
• Manage all aspects of market ad-hoc studies including identifying objectives, preparing methodology, designing questionnaires, implementing and analyzing research and preparing reports of findings and insights.
• Measure the awareness of ABYAT brand and products among different segments of customers.
• Negotiate contracts for research projects and manage research budgets.
• Track and Analyze assortment width and price range of top competitors to derive the upcoming trends and assortment strategy.
• Analyze quotations and sales orders to better understand the quotation conversion rate for different product categories.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis on consumer trends, preferences, needs and buying habits through ad-hoc studies.
• Contribute to the department’s development by providing suggestions and feedback on different aspects.
• Managing operations employees, preparing work schedules, and delegating projects to Field Executives.
• Setting the budget & the profit margin for each survey & creating a cost plan, which I monitor during the lifespan
of the survey in order not to exceed it, and to achieve the profit margin.
• Attend client meetings as a key member in initiating and carrying out the research projects.
• Advise clients on the best research practice that serves the research objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the operations department performance on different levels.
• Reporting and updating the management and the “Research Department”.
• Handling several quantitative and qualitative research projects for major clients such as National Bank of Kuwait,
Gulf Bank, Kuwait Finance House, ZAIN, Ooredoo, VIVA, Kout Food Group, KDD and Americana.
• Managing the field staff, training, assisting, supporting and solving their technical problems,
• Planning and organizing the workflow of the fieldwork for the running research projects.
• Assuring that the surveys are executed fast, efficient and with minimum direct cost.
• Communicating & coordinating between departments (Research, IT and Finance).
• Controlling the direct cost in order not to exceed the budget of each research project.
• Recruiting the required team of freelancers to work in the field & inside office.
• Preparing the study material (validation, printing, telephone quality-check sheets, log files... etc.).
• Briefing the interviewers’ team about all the study details (questionnaire, quota distribution, deadline... etc.).
• Following up with:
✔ Fieldworkers: Supervisors and interviewers in order to ensure the continuity of the field and avoid any
unexpected problems. Communicate with them on the errors/ problematic in their work.
✔ Office-based Editors and Coders: Ensure the flow of questionnaires being administered and the performance
of each step. Respond sensitively to the questions and issues being addressed by the office working team.
• Supervising the Data entry process & Data cleaning. Deliver the raw data file to the “Research Department”
before the survey deadline.
• Managing different syndicated media research surveys and various others conducted by IPSOS at a regional level.
