The actual number of
years of experience as Financial Manager is Five Years).
Accounting:
* Review the trial balance and match with its analysis.
* Review yearly, Quarterly and monthly financial statements.
* Reviewing the monthly financial position and rolling budgeted cash flow statement.
* Handling all bank transactions related to company operations and follows the received LCs
from customers, LGs, and special coordination of bank facilities
* Following up vendor’s invoices for payment in their proper due dates then emailing
inside/outside vendors to ensure safe receipt of funds.
* Following up Customer’s invoices for collection in their proper due dates. Any delays should
be forwarded to the credit controller.
* Review and approve on salaries calculation and ensure related taxes and insurance laws are
applied probably.
* Review and approve on all documents that should be presented to the external auditor as per
request.
* Review and approve on annual assets depreciation calculation sheet.
* Classify the selling and administrative expenses and do allocation of company’s costs via
activity based costing. This is after determining the cost diver.
* Make a fiscal count for Cash to assure that all cash transactions are recorded probably.
* Consulting and reviewing the monthly movement accounting entries that have been recorded
in the formal and legal records.
* Make annual report for each shareholder to indicate changes made to the opining balance.
* Make the annual dividends payable based on management decision and keep the legal
reserve.
* Make yearly fixed assets replacement plan for management approval.
* Prepare the costing sheet for imported shipments then communicated to the presales
engineers for quoting our customers.
Budgeting:
* Communicate with company departments to collect director’s expectation for the coming year.
* Discussing with all departments directors to proof their expectations to avoid budgetary slack.
* Translating/ formulating all collected data to generate the budget items which include sales,
purchases, cost of goods sold, selling & administrative expense and the proforma income
statement and budgeted financial statements.
* Review the whole budget elements with the managing director and may ask for modifications
of some budget items.
Financial Analysis:
* Prepare analysis related to financial statements and present recommendations for the future.
* Prepare ratio analysis to analyze the company’s financial performance. The financial ratios are
prepared for the short term “liquidity and profitability” and the long term as for “Solvency”
* Make deeply analysis for activity using the activity measures “A/R, A/P, Inventory…”
* Make deeply analysis for Sales and cost of goods sold to determine actual gross profit and
indicate whether it is compatible with sales revenue.
* Make deeply analysis for selling and administrative expenses - item by item - which have a
great effect on company’s net profit.
* Make aging report for both customers and vendors and take the corrective action if a problem
is found.
* All ratios should be compatible with bank terms and conditions to comply with bank facilities
agreement.
Performance Evaluation
* Prepare the actual income statement and compare with budgeted date to ensure that we are
align with the management directions.
* Reporting all variances that result from comparison to be communicated to the top
management.
* Modifications should be inserted to the prepared budget in case it has vital and essential
effect.
* All Favorable / Unfavorable variances will affect positively and negatively on performance
evaluation for all directors involved in the budget preparation
* Weekly meeting with managing director for discussion on updates and progresses all financial
data.
* Make an evaluation for the accounting stuff and determine the strengthen and weakness
points
Administrative Direction:
* Direct for preparing the general assembly procedures and send all invitations to shareholders.
* Direct for renew the Tax card, Import / Export card, VAT certificate and the commercial
registration in case the expiration date will draw near.
* Directing the accounting stuff with cooperation with the stock controller to prepare the annual
fiscal count and check if differences found.
* Manage relationship between Finance Dep. and internal parties such as purchase, sales,
warehouse and HR Dep.
* Manage relationship between Finance Dep. And external parties such as bank, Tax Authority,
insurance office and GAFI.
Taxes
* Make a monthly report for all withholding taxes that is applied on foreign services presented
inside / outside EGYPT.
* Instruct for preparing ALL documents required for the tax inspection and follow up from
requisition date to receive the tax inspection results and payment. This could be applied on all
“Sales Taxes, Payrolls Taxes and Income Taxes”
* Review the quarterly tax form # 41 and approve on payment.
* Review of the salaries adjustment sheet prior to submittal to the tax authority.
* Review all electronic tax payments prior to submittal to the bank.
* Prepare the annual TAX report with coordination of the external auditor.
Audit:
* Approve on posting the daily entries related to all financial transactions after reviewing them
on daily basis.
* Approve on issuing Sales invoices to ensure proper financial aspects.
* Review Purchase Orders, suppliers & customers contracts and comply with policies and
procedures.
* Approve on cash requests prior to submittal for payment.
Computerized side
* Familiar with using SOFTEX system.
