Managing the support and delivery of big portfolio of systems around 30 applications ranging from ERP, Port Operations, Billing, and industry specific applications.
Responsible for managing implementation of large ERP, CRM project, which is Microsoft Dynamics AX for a group of companies in the region, the implementation scope include 22 companies in UAE, KSA, Qatar & Oman. Starting from building the required infrastructure, Business process mapping, requirement gathering, gap analysis till going live, plus managing the required deliverables from the software vendor (Microsoft) and other third parties partners for infrastructure & software deployment.
Zain in Sudan (formerly Mobitel) is the pioneer of GSM services in Sudan, being the first to offer mobile operations back in February 1997 and then become part of Zain which is one of leading mobile companies in Middle East & Gulf region. Today it serves the largest base of mobile customers in the country with more than 12 million active customers.
Role: - Manage all Enterprise Resource Application (ERP) implementations, support team, development team, dealing with external vendors, IT Audits and budgeting planning for new projects and hardware needs including software and licenses.
Projects & Achievements:
- Orion ERP -2007 Implementation:- Financial, HRMS, Supply Chain-Sudanese Mobile Company (Mobitel).

- Service Purchase Order-2008:- project for Automating purchase orders for services and contracts such as rental, civil work, consultancy-Sudanese Mobile Company (Mobitel).

- Oracle E-Business Suite R12-2008:- multi-million dollar project for implementing e-business suite (Zain).
Vendor: Oracle Corporation.
Modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, INV), SCM (PO, INV, I-procurements, Procurement Contracts), HCM (Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, OLM).
Implementer: International Turnkey System.
- Business Intelligence (BI)-2010 fully integrated reporting Solution for all ERP Modules (Zain) including OIEEE analysis, Dashboards, Creating Business Models.
- Oracle E-Business Receivable (AR)/Ericsson IN Charging System Integration-2011:- complete integration between Oracle Receivables with Ericsson prepaid charging system, daily upload for CDR’s into the integration server, aggregation for revenues according to finance business rules then import it into Oracle Receivable with customized concurrent requests, automated reconciliation with Revenue Assurance & Data warehouse reports.
- Oracle E-Business/TABS Billing System Integration-2011:- complete integration between ERP & TABS Billing system for daily revenues, stock & sales.
- ITIL implementation for Enterprise Applications-2010: - re-engineering ERP services to be aligned with ITIL standards in terms of service design, transition, implementation & delivery.
- Oracle E-business Suite R12.1- 2011: - implementation for enterprise applications for the new Zain Telecom Company operates in the new country of South Sudan, this include the separation of all data & balances for the new company.
- Oracle E-business Suite Convergent Billing In One (CBIO) Integration- 2012:- Integrating Oracle E-Business Receivables & Inventory with Ericsson BSCS Billing System & NTS Wincash still ongoing.
- Enterprise Asset Management -2012: Implementation of Oracle E-business Asset management modules & integrate it with local asset tracking/tagging module Fixed Asset Register Module (FARM) for Zain Sudan.

Role: - Manage & supervise all IT operations in the Bank, manage IT resources, planning IT purchases and dealing with vendors.
Projects & Achievements:
- Currency Conversion-2007:- Conversion for Core Bank Applications and Interfaces plus Financial Statements & Balances from Sudanese Dinar to Sudanese Pound.
- IT Infrastructure Upgrade-2006:- upgrading for all bank infrastructure including servers, desktops, OS platforms, power supplies, ATM & POS networks etc.
- Network Security-2006:- installing firewalls for bank WAN that connects branches and HO and all ATM’s.

- Mobile Banking (SMS Banking Services)-2004:- SMS inquiry and request service for customers-Export Development Bank.
- Implementing Bank plus Application -2005:- Multi-tier Version with Replication of Data from 18 Branches to HO-Export Development Bank.
- Bank Host Interface -2006:- Core Bank Interfacing with Central Bank National Payment Switch ATM, POS & E-Channels -Export Development Bank using ISO8583.
- Enterprise Backup Solution- 2006: Implement a role model enterprise backup & data protection procedures solution for all branches.
