Herewith follows a brief bio outlining my employment history and the knowledge and skills I have acquired.

An opportunity then presented itself to work for a global social relief organisation. Initially, I was assigned a ‘Volunteer Coordinator' position within the organisation, which entailed the management of their extensive volunteer network. Within six months I was appointed as Regional Coordinator.

Having recently married, romanticised ideas of travelling steered me to teach English as a second language in the Middle East. My wife and I started teaching at King Saud University (KSU), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in October 2011. Teaching came naturally, and I was soon promoted to an assistant instructor for teacher development and training.

Shortly thereafter, in July 2013, we were headhunted and offered management positions at a new university that taught part face to face and part online classes, with Saudi Electronic University (SEU), with a company called Assrooh Athakiya. Being a blended learning institution meant teaching with online media as well as traditional face-to-face and subsequently presented interesting new challenges.
