Responsible for the implementation and management of virtualization products and systems that support virtualization, including all server hardware, networking, and operating systems including Microsoft and Linux.
-Administering and maintaining Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) like Nutanix and Cisco HyperFlex Datacenter along with the DR site.
- Maintain support for Virtualization Infrastructure platform in VMware, Nutanix and Cisco HyperFlex stretchered clusters.
-Nutanix Block expansion increasing compute & Storage capacity in existing environment.
-Nutanix Prism central one-click management to Managing multiple clusters Performance, Monitoring IOPS, latency and storage capacity.
-Replication DR solution - Monitoring the Metro Availability (MA) configuring data protection in protection domain local VM snapshots replication to remote site Nutanix container.
-Experience or working knowledge of Disaster Recovery technologies helpful.
-In Cisco HyperFlex UCS operations: create service profiles, vLANs, DIMMs upgrade, health check, faulty parts replacement etc.
-Deploys necessary system software, hardware, and equipment (physical or virtual) to meet changing infrastructure needs.
-Migrate VMs-host or storage vMotion, VMs with (RDMs or VMDK) shared disks.
-VSphere Networking: Configure or Manage Standard and Distributed switches, Port groups, Physical adapters & VMKernel adapters etc.
-VSphere Storage: Create datastores, expand datastores, unmount and delete datastores.
- Configure and manage a vSphere vCenter HA Cluster.
-Configure vSphere HA and vSphere HA and vSphere DRS.
-Patching an ESXI Host using VMware vCenter update manager.
-Perform basic troubleshooting of ESXI hosts, virtual machines and vCenter server Operations.
-Deploy VM using Clones, Templates, and ISO & OVA/OVF.
-Experience or working knowledge of Backup technologies helpful.
-Coordinating with different vendors for support (Cisco, VMware, and Nutanix).
- Support Microsoft product like Exchange, AD, DNS, DHCP and File servers.
- Installing and managing SQL server Failover cluster structure and Always on High Availability
- Apply patches to servers for the quarterly basics.
Managing 700+ VMs and 120+ ESXI hosts (Cisco UCS) to ensure the highest level of availability.
Responsible for building, maintaining and troubleshooting Backup Infrastructure for backing up more than 2000 clients which includes, Windows, Linux, MS Exchange, MS fileserver, MS SQL server, Oracle DB using EMC Avamar includes(EMC Data Domain)
Virtual Machines Operations:
Provisioning the Windows and Linux VM as per the recommendations.
Deploy VM using Clones, Templates, and ISO & OVA/OVF.
Migrate VMs-host or storage vMotion, VMs with (RDMs or VMDK) shared disks.
Monitor resource utilization, reconfigure CPU, Memory, resize or add new disks NICs (add, remove & change port group) and mount ISO etc.
VSphere Networking: Configure or Manage Standard and Distributed switches, Port groups, Physical adapters & VMKernel adapters etc.
VSphere Storage: Create datastores, expand datastores, unmount and delete datastores.
Cisco UCS operations: create service profiles, vLANs, DIMMs upgrade, health check, faulty parts replacement etc.
Swapping the blades from one datacenter and another datacenter.
Patching an ESXI Host using vCenter update manager.
Storage operations:
Create LUNs for datastores, RDM, Booting and NAS.
Manage and monitor storages EMC product like VMAX200K, Unity 550, Unity 880, Data domain.
Perform storage operations using VIPR controller.
Alarms: Configure customs alerts, SNMP traps for different domains like vCenter, storage and UCS etc.
Coordinating with different vendors for support (Cisco, EMC, VMware).
Windows System operations:
Install and configure the Windows2008R2, Windows server 2012 Windows server 2016, Windows server 2019.
Doing In place upgrade on OS Windows 2008R2 to latest version.
Administer all In-scope MS Windows servers for the end users.
Support Microsoft product like Exchange, AD, DNS, DHCP servers.
Create and manage Group Policy Object links within their OU hierarchy as per our internal requirements.
Manage and maintain email database and email queue.
Administer email user-Creation, deletion, access privilege, transport rule.
Installing and managing SQL server Failover cluster structure and Always on High Availability.
Manage SQL Server Failover cluster structure, SQL databases structures, sizes and location, database creation and installation.
Performed day-to-day DBA activities such as monitoring SQL Server health, job status, addressing user requirements.
Performed activity on SQL database migration on SQL 2008 to SQL 2017 in new environment.
Coordination with the organization Cyber Security group to ensure the domain is secure.
Apply patches to server and clients as and when requires and as per change management using tools WSUS & Heat Patch Management.
Install and update Antivirus software - McAfee EPO.
Maintain and manage FILE Server with Failover Cluster structure.
Manage Distributed File System (DFS) and File system resource management (FSRM).
Installation and administration of terminal services and RDP services.
Monitor, control and mange recovery from any unplanned outage
Documentation (problem tickets, change management documentation /report, asset management system).
Perform daily health check performance (CPU usage, disk space and memory usage) to ensure that the windows servers and applications are running efficiently.
Perform Weekly health check on vCenter level using RV Tools to confirm the environment healthy.
Providing 24 x 7 on call support rotational for NOC alerts.
Manage and support 6 windows servers and 100 clients.
Support user account related issues like Create new account, unlock, block, delete in AD.
Responsible for Hardware and software for client and server level.
Managing User Accounts and Giving share &Security Level Permission.
Troubleshooting both wired and wireless network related issues,
Responsible to check backup all the server and DB’s using SYMANTEC backup exec 15
Supervise all security activities (Access Control, CCTV, Security Guards)
Responsible to prepare the database of the fingerprints & Face Recognition of the Employees in the company using ZK software.
