• Support the plant in all aspects of the electrical and electronics maintenance troubleshooting using PLC (Siemens S7300-S7400), HMI and programming skills and a thorough understanding of the machines sequence of operations.
• Design, install, manage and maintain n equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
• Develop electrical and controls system solutions based on engineering principles and involvement in presentation of the solution.
• Collaborate with and direct the work of coordinators, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
• Train and develop the plant electricians to increase their ability to understand and troubleshoot controls related issues in the plant.
• Inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electronic systems and equipment.
• Investigate electrical and electronic failures.
• Prepare reports and design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Put preventive maintenance plan to all machines and equipment and prepare regular reports as part of ISO 9001.
• Conduct research into design, operation and performance of distribution networks, electrical machinery and components and electronic communications, instrumentation and control systems, equipment, and components.
• Supervise technicians and analysts in carrying out the maintenance plan.
• Prepare and Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP plant maintenance (SAP PM).
• Order through the maintenance manager any spare parts needed.
