Checks and ensures that all alarm systems and terminals of the network are working effectively and reliably.
Preparing the DT for the traffic changes, doing tests monitoring changes effect.
Exchange data daily modification; B-table changes, routing Cases, routing analysis, accounting, etc.

Assists in preparing monthly/weekly/daily reports on O&M parameters for reporting and reviewing with superiors; follows up as required.
Monitor alarms and performance information on 24x7 basis.
Perform initial analysis to identify issues follow by restoration if possible (1st line of Support).
Perform periodical network backups and health checks to determine network status.
Respond to Network Customer Support Team within agreed SLA time frame.
Create and update/manage trouble tickets for any detected problem.
Ensure all docket information is capture in activity log.
Managing technical escalation to ensure faults is rectified within agreed SLAs.
Perform Escalation and Notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages.
Assist the FO shift leader in producing activity report for KPI calculation.
Assist the operation team in process improvement and ongoing development of tools and system.
Ensure proper work progress, shift handover, data communication, team work spirit etc.
Monitor alarm event panels, such as WinFiol, OSSALV, OSS Command Handling.
My duties were:
Supervision and Maintenance of Ericsson Core Nodes.
Handling Core Projects based on Customer Requests.
HLS Support for Ericsson MSC/VLR, MGW, APG40 C2/C4, APZ 212 50, HLR &
FNR Nodes.
Definition of new mobile services.
Delivering specialist mobile services to meet the business requirements.

My duties were:
Troubleshooting and fault resolution using tools like the Wire shark and test systems
for trace capturing and analysis on the core nodes.
I am the responsible Engineer for MNP project from core side (we did not go live yet,
but all configuration has been finished).
I was the responsible Engineer for all Roaming issues (use IR21 in the configuration
for Inbound & Outbound roamers, Implement IR24 for postpaid & IR32 for prepaid
tests, handling Roaming subscribers complains during tests and after going live) in
MTN Sudan for about two years.
Responsible for all O&M, proactive and preventive maintenance on all AXE nodes
BYB 501, APZ 212/50, MSS R 4.1 ( MSC R12.1& MGW R 4.1) & MSS R 6.1 (
MSC R14.1& MGW R 6.1 GMP V3).
Blade Cluster APZ 214.3 (finished from integration steps that contains: APG's and
SPXs CP startup, SPX CPs and CP Blade Middleware loading and activation &
Dump loading, MSCs, TSCs and HLRs - BC SCTP Association Data is loaded in all
nodes, MGW SCTP data loading, Integration with IN & VAS & OSS, Call test
scenarios (pre and postpaid), HW acceptance. NOW: we will swap traffic from
MSCs to BC).
Change configuration, integration and expansion of traffic route, signaling over IP,
ATM & TDM between different network elements. (MSC, MGW, BSC, HLR, RNC,
SGSN, VMS, IN, PRBT).
Respond to core networks faults and outages by providing immediate troubleshooting
and root cause analysis.
Integration, commissioning and change of hardware boards extension modules and magazines on AXE and MGW.
Implementation of procedure for memory extension in the Central Processor Server
Block (CPSB) in APZ 212 50.
Implementation of CP Restore.
Implementation of DAT TAPE Driver Reinstall Procedure
Implementation of procedure to perform a power cycle on an Adjunct Processor
