Accountant Supervisor (Sept 2013 to up to date)-Nehmeh Corporation-Doha
Nehmeh Corporation is a leading manufacturing and trading industrial solution providers in Doha, Qatar since 1955. It has stepped in to hospitality industry also recently.
I have been working as an Accountant Supervisor reporting to Head of Finance.
Key responsibilities
Monitoring monthly closing and related monthly JVs.
Preparing monthly Sectional Income statement for the Management.
Finalizing the monthly Consolidated Financial Statements in line with IFRS and preparing presentation with performance indicators for the Management monthly meeting.
Analyzing monthly Financials and reasoning the variances for the board of Directors.
Work closely with Sales Manager to follow up budget and forecast as well.
Supervising daily GL related transaction and issues.
Reconciling and monitoring cash customer GL.
Monitoring Product costing and pricing.
Maintain adequate procedures and controls to ensure accuracy of job costs.
Preparing and monitoring the budget.
Maintaining and monitoring all loan amortization schedules and working with Bank for re-scheduling if needed.
Monitoring fixed asset register and ensure accuracy of capitalization and depreciation.
Providing Accounting related technical support for ERP new module implementation.
Preparing yearly closing journal entries to finalize the Trail Balance.
Coordinating with external Auditors for the Financial Audit.
