Corporate Accountant - Responsibilities: • Ensure the accurate preparation / reporting of monthly financial results in strict accordance with Company deadlines
• Take ownership of the fixed asset module of the Company's ERP, along with all related processes and accounting steps.
• Maintain fixed asset records & monitoring asset movements as visible in other portions of the ERP, and adjusting the fixed asset records accordingly and ensure timely recording of asset additions, disposals/retirements, sales, transfers & Tracks CIP accounts, and ensures timely capitalization, upon completion of the project.
• Prepare, maintain, and understand balance sheet and income statement reconciliations pertaining to fixed asset activities.
• Complete fixed asset accounting and prepare related journal entries per agreed-upon close timelines.
• Engage with the accounting team and other departments to ensure proper and efficient accounting methods as well as understanding the business needs of other departments.
• Quarterly and annual forecast of the capital expenditure budget for cash flow forecast and forecasting of annual budgeted depreciation of fixed assets.
• Ensure timely depreciation of fixed assets
• Maintain records and billing of shared assets on a periodic basis from the Joint Ventures
• Ensure timely capitalization of construction in process (CIP) assets and preparation of 'Ad Hoc' Reporting including Capital Expenditure Reporting and CIP Reporting with comparison to budget

• Support Field Finance team and their departments with CAPEX/FA planning and review and implement necessary improvement required.
• Periodic review and reconciliation of the trial balance accounts in detail and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Validation of vendor's invoices for payment
• Monthly billing to Joint Ventures for the various maintenance services rendered based on budgeted rate and annual actualization.
• Obtain production reports and preparation of the monthly final costing schedule for the Joint product costing and reconciliation of Cost of goods sold and inventory.
• Maintain proper reconciliation for on behalf and buy and sell transactions and ensure accuracy of the accounting.
• Preparation and review for any changes required in the Property plant and equipment accounting policy and procedure manuals and participate in the preparation of other accounting procedures related to month closing.
• Coordinating and liaising with the external and state auditors as required
