Assure timely collection of money due to corporation. Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards. Assure timely and accurate invoicing. Monitor and coordinate sales order of the organization on daily basis. Control cash collection process and make sure all cash receipts are applied properly. Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits. Make recommendation to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures. Weekly reporting of invoicing/ totals/ aging totals/ cash receipts/ invoice adjustments. Support financial planning by forecasting cash. Maintain accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions. Provide timely internal and external customer service in professional, cooperative and respectful manner. Control bank remittances of all transactions.
Prepare profit & loss statements and monthly closing reports. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports, make general ledger entries, and review and verify accuracy. Handle accounts payables & accounts receivables, and reconcile creditors and debtors’ ledgers .Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. Ensure appropriate recording of revenues and expenses. Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommended budget levels, and ensure expenditure control. Prepare Intercompany transactions. Monitor and control bank balances and reconcile monthly banks statements. Prepare monthly cash flow. Resolve accounting discrepancies. Maintain computerized inventory records. Maintain the fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules and ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals. Interact with and handle queries for external audit. Perform other related tasks as required.
