The project contains 22 trains, 1 Depot, 1 OCC, and 14 stations, working as a senior Consultant Engineer at PNU.
•Overview and supervise the Preventive and Corrective maintenance of Signaling, rolling stock, depot equipment and long-term maintenance.
•Overview and managing the entire maintenance schedule, special tools, materials, spare parts, and manpower, through SAP & MAXIMO programs.
•Ensure proper maintenance of the client assets and monitor the preventive and corrective maintenance performed by the contractor as per the original equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
•Verification of the contractor's maintenance document and ensuring proper record keeping of the history of asset maintenance in SAP & Maximo.
•Raising of non-conformity reports to the contractor in case of any minor or major deviations.
•Review the monthly training plan which submitted by the contractor and ensure that the trainees have received the planned number of training hours.
•Reviewing the KPI for all the APM systems and approving the contractor's monthly invoice.
•Preparing all required reports to the client Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, and service interruption reports.
•Preparing and managing all meetings with all parties related to any technical issues, failures discussions, long-term maintenance, requested modifications, work progress, inventory, and spare parts.
•Review the design, SAT and FAT documents and release the comments for the new equipment requested for the workshop upgrading of the wheel pressing machine, Gearbox test bench, and overhead crane.
•Determine the minimum quantity of spare parts based on historical consumptions that are required for reliable maintenance of the APM system and assets.
•Provide recommendations for improving the performance of the APM Systems based on the periodic investigations & recommendations for Mid-life overhauling preparation and modification for all obsolete systems, ATC, TLC, RS, and
Power... and discuss with the contractor to provide a scheduled plan.
•Corporate and collaborate with Transportation General Authority (TGA) for their audits and follow up with contractor to address the issues and concerns raised by TGA.
Worked as a consultant Engineer at Light Rail Transit (LRT) (Adly Mansour -New Administrative Capital - 10 Ramadan City) for the Signaling System.
•Inspection and review for all the installation work at the site (outdoor &indoor) and witness all system tests conducted by the contractor (Individual, static, corresponding, interface, control table, CBTC, ATC, dynamic, DSC, integrated …)
•Prepare the progress reports of Design & installation and Test commissioning activities.
•Chairing the technical meeting with all the involved stakeholders concerning the progress installation on the site, testing and commissioning and resolving any technical issues that arose during this period.
•Act as a point interface between various systems technologies in the project.
•Ensure that all the project activities for installation, Test and commissioning have been done as per the design and approved documents and comply with the HSE policies.
•Execute the quality inspection for the new spare parts in the warehouse.
•Coordinate and follow up on snag points that were raised during all project stages.
•Responsible for review and approval of the contractor's monthly invoices.
•Head of operation and corrective & preventive maintenance for Track circuit, Signals, ATC system, point machines, charger, NS1 relays, and interlocking systems at Line no 01.
•Provide rapid response to all signaling failures and replacement of faulty equipment following safety procedures.
•Review the documents of the design, installation, Test and commissioning for the new projects related to Cairo Metro Line1, Kozzika workshop and Almarg-New Almarg extension.
•Responsible as a witness for all tests that include all kinds of installation, testing and commissioning stages of the signaling system for the above-mentioned projects.
•Perform root cause analysis of failures and generate technical reports to prevent the recurrence of the failures.
•Study and apply any requested modification that comes from operation management related to the Signaling system such as Signals and ATC modification.
•Prepare all performance and technical Weekly- Monthly reports, requested by top management
•The project is a chilled water system with HDPE pipes at Medco Plast Company (6 October City)
•Following up on the execution plan of the HVAC System.
•Review all design drawings for possible required modifications based on site and budget conditions
•Managing a team of foremen and laborers and ensuring compliance with safety standards at the site.
•Conducting daily and weekly site meetings with all parties.
•Controlling all documents including invoices for subcontractors, suppliers, materials, samples submitting, inspections and technical letters.
•Following up on the execution of testing and chemical treatment with third parties.
•Supervise all activities of the pneumatic system in the project.
•Led the team for the Preventive, Corrective and long-term maintenance of rolling stock and Depot equipment for all mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems for Cairo Metro lines 2 &3.
•Provide technical support to prepare the inspection reports, checklists and knowledge sharing with my peers.
•Prepare all lists of spare parts that are required to carry out all preventive, corrective and long-term maintenance.
•Ensure that the execution of preventive, corrective and long-term maintenance are carried out according to the recommendations in the manufacturer's manuals.
•Provided all performance and technical Weekly- Monthly-other reports, requested by top management.
•Provided rapid response for the corrective maintenance and replacement of faulty equipment by adopting safety procedures and solving any problems.
•Executed the proper record of the history of asset maintenance on SAP and Maximo.
Monitor the passenger flows, regulate traffic, and coordinate actions with Station masters at all stations at Cairo Metro Line 2, to prevent station overcrowding.
•Coordinate with OCC for any failures related to any system, rolling stock, Telecommunications, HVAC, Signaling, Power-... and follow up with the maintenance team who is responsible for the failure.
•Monitor and schedule the attendance, performance, and condition of team members from Supervisors, Station master, and security, to ensure fitness for duty deal with the day-to-day discipline of the team and ensure implementation of all the safety standards and readiness for dealing with the passengers in emergency cases.
•Prepare the failure interruption report for the operation service and report to the top management.
