RESPONSIBILITIES AS A (Area IT In-charge - Dubai):
•Direct responsibility for managing IT staff, including technicians, helpdesk personnel and administrative staff.
•Supervise the Network Support Staff and split the work load on all of them to ensure business continuity.
• Find and Design for a new solution depends on the company needs.
•Submit weekly technical report for the top management.
•Monitoring the IT assets and ensure following the company policy.
•Develop training materials, including tutorials, documentation and instructional manuals.
• Oversee purchase orders, invoices and payments of hardware, software and services vendors.
• Proactivity advise on the most economic and technology methods to maximize return on investment and utility.
• Monitor the helpdesk call logging and generate reports for management meetings.
•Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
•Advise the procurement Dept. on any IT purchase to ensure the compatibility or legality issues.
•Submitting weekly technical report for the top management and discuss the pending issues.
•Design the appropriate email solution and do the necessary comparison to the benefit of the company in terms of cost, performance and compatibility.
• Coordinate with the suppliers and get the best price/ quality for any budgeted project.
• Prepare the budget for the Dept.
• Prepare the targets objectives which should be achieved during the year.
•Prepare / Draft the necessary IT policy and submit it to the top management for approval.
•Respects and abides by all copyright laws, software licensing agreement and intellectual properly rights regulations
•Plans, organize direct strategies that utilize technology to increase productivity, improve business processes, support team and lower total operating costs.
•Determine Long-term companywide technology needs, develop recommends and implement long range technology direction and strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A (Sr. System and Network Administrator):

• Exchange Email server 2010 administrator for 1900 Mail boxes.
• Mdaemon Email server administrator for 750 Mail Boxes.
• Configure and maintain SAN storages.
• Enterprise Blackberry server administrator.
• Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, RAS Servers administrator.
• Symantec Backup Exec/2010server administrator with Daily, Weekly and Monthly backup.
• Monitor the network for any virus threat using the antivirus server.
• File server, Data Storage server administrator with a proper policy’s and permissions.
• Citrix Server Administrator, publishing ERP and other software to be accessible thru Citrix website.
• FortiGate Firewall administrator, create Rules and policies to monitor the internet bandwidth.
• Virtualize most of the servers and increase their performance using Vsphere, VMware.
• Support the Network Support team in finding solutions.
• Phone support for the company subsidiaries like Thailand, KSA, Egypt, Qatar if they face any connectivity problem with the main office.

• Managing and configuring DC, AD, DNS, DHCP with appropriate design for polices for (2003, 2008) servers.
• Troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, Browsing, Network file system and TCP/IP..
• Managing and installing LAN/WAN Networks.
• Monitor all network activities including LAN/WAN traffic, internet usage for each user, mail server, and files\folders sharing and permit ions, anti-virus protection, and backup and restore process.
• Using POP3 and SMTP services upon polices applied on employees criteria.
• Designing and implementing a backup and disaster recovery procedures for the project using Symantec exec Backup software using LTO3, LTO4 tapes with a tape library device such as Tandberg or HP.
• Setting up a full detailed Network with the necessary cabling info required such as (switches, patch panels, routers, Cabinets, AC, UPS, CAT5 cables, CAT6 cables)
• Install and configure “UNTANGLE” firewall for controlling the internet; Linux based.
• Managing wireless LAN cards, routers and access points in the network.
• Install and configure all windows operating systems including RAID configuration (Vista, XP, and Windows server (2000, 2003, and 2008) prepare the San storages and study the required.
• Manage network devices, recourses, routers, switches, access points, internet and sharing.
• Installing all necessary software for the employees like AutoCAD, 3dmax, Photoshop, acrobat and Microsoft office.
• Visiting the site offices to check if the network and the servers working properly and doing the necessary backup for it, and check the site servers remotely to check the replication processes (Primary domain, Child Domain).
• Train the stuff to use the PC, printers and software.
• Monitoring the IT assets and ensure following the company policy.

WORK DESCRIPTION:
• Assembling Computers, Create and manipulate networks, Computer and Network trouble shouting. Installing OS; Windows and Linux.
• Install manage supervise windows 2000, and windows NT server with essential services like DNS and DHCP.
• Manage network connectivity, troubleshooting and desktop configuration.
• Configure files and folders backup server and setup the backup strategy.
• Protect the network and computers by installing and configuring the enterprise antivirus solutions using Norton antivirus.
• Installing and configuring Microsoft Sql server 2000.
