• Advises the Budget Officer on all matters related to the Field budget including assisting him in planning, managing, and monitoring day-to-day operations, draft correspondence, provide recommendations and prepares reports and statements related to his functions.
• Guiding and advising the expending officers/department heads on PB related budget issues to ensure effective and efficient use of
resources including guidance on budget preparation and implementation instructions.
• Reviews and checks the accuracy of program budget and external grants estimates as requested, ensures that all budgetary transactions are complied with Agency Finance Technical Instructions, guides and trains the staff under my supervision and reviews their works.
• Carries out a monthly/ quarterly review of the Field budget and expenditure and prepares end of year forecast, reports and follows up on significant over and under expenditures with relevant parties to take the corrective actions.
• Verifies and confirms availability of funds required and raises the necessary transactions for budget allocation, provides guidance and support in response to queries raised by project leads and by HQ on matters concerning project budget issues and performs necessary corrective actions.
• Assists in overseeing and reviewing the end dates of projects, ensuring related transactions are timely concluded.
• Trains Admin Officers (AOs) on use of budget preparation tools and proper use of budget in the Agency's FMIS, reviews and validates input of the annual/biennium budgeting for consistency and
relevance.
• Develops and maintains communications with the budget leads/ focals from within Field programs/departments, advising them on matters regarding budget rules and regulations to ensure the proper implementation of any updated norms or other relevant HQ budget specifications.
• Maintains proper management of the relevant information system and data and prepares the related analytical, statistical and other reports.
• Deputizing Budget Officer during his absence.

My scores in the majority of modules were very good and above and then I completed my Master research under the head: "The Reality of Applying Participative Budgeting in UNRWA, Gaza and its Impact on Managerial Performance (in light of Knowledge Sharing & Organizational Commitment)" and I graduated in August 2019 with a GPA %85.3. NB: Because of the Genocide war in Gaza nowadays my Master certificate has been lost and I am not able to upload it now, but I promise to upload it as soon as possible once I am able to extract a certified copy from the university and this is an obligation for me.
