• Working as a part of team in Firefighting and Rescue platoon on all kind of missions, including Indoor Fire Fighting using SCBA, Technical Rescue at Road Traffic Accidents, HazMat and other accidents.
• Fire Prevention related to fire safety watches.
• Conducting care and maintenance of the equipment available on the station.
• Continuous training as defined in the relevant German Firefighting standards.
• Control, contain, and extinguish fires.
• Answer emergency situations quickly, assess conditions, and act appropriately to contain fires, assist victims, and prevent escalation.
• Administer first aid and artificial respiration to those adversely affected or injured by fire, smoke, or trauma.
• Assess patient needs and provide life support services during medical emergencies.
• Maintain updated knowledge of safety guidelines, Firefighting techniques, treatment protocols, response requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, upkeep, and daily check according to a standard list.
• Assist supervisor/Officer and supporting him with reports during fire accidents and emergencies.
