Key Responsibilities for GIS:
Experience with ESRI Products (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, Portal and ArcGIS Online).
Install and configure ArcGIS Enterprise on complex Linux environment.
Experience with ArcSDE configuration, Tuning and Administration.
Experience with AED-SICAD ArcFM UT.
Create and maintain geodatabases which required for development, testing and production usage.
Perform the capacity planning required to create and maintain the ArcSDE schema structure.
Plan and implement backup and recovery of the geodatabase.
Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Key Responsibilities for Database:
Create and maintain databases required for development, testing and production usage.
Create new Oracle & SQL Server databases and users as required.
Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances.
Expertise in new versions of the Oracle & SQL Server RDBMS and tools that access the Oracle database.
Perform a Oracle database Cluster High Availability by using “Oracle fail Safe” and “Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)” applications.
Manage Oracle database (Users, Roles, and Privileges) using Toad software.
Plans database upgrades by maintaining, evaluating, and improving a transaction processing model.
Install and configure Oracle database on Linux environmen
Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives.
Managed Technical Support team to support end users of ESRI software (ArcGIS for Desktop & Extension, ArcGIS for Server, ArcGIS Online, Geodatabase, and CityEngine).
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
Understands GIS new technologies and industry trends and be able to speak to how they impact Discovery Education.
Hands on experience in Data Collection & Cleaning, Data Management, Spatial Analysis, Digital Terrain Modeling, Visualization and maps composition & printing.
Help solve the customer problems related to GIS field through phone, remote access, or onsite visit.
Demonstrates a “problem solving - solution oriented” approach.
Maintains clear & completes files (ensuring ease of information sharing).
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
Replacing parts as required.
Installing and configuring computer (Desktop/Server) hardware operating systems and applications.
