Job Description:
As an MYB Counselor, there is a wide range of areas are covered and treated as follows:
1. Academic Area: low achievement, lack of motivation, concerns and anxiety about exams, and Attention Deficit Disorder. It also includes supporting gifted students.
2. Psychological Area: shyness, antisocial behavior, anxiety, stress, depression, negative self-esteem and irrational ideas.
3. Social Area: communication skills, adaptation abilities and social effectiveness skills.
4. Behavioral Area: self-discipline and support in solving different behavioral problems.
Main Duties:
1. Academic Achievement Support.
2. Punctuality Improvement.
3. Positive Behavior Support.
4. Recommendation Letters for Summer Schools
5. Monitoring Students’ Behavior Inside and Outside School.
6. Individual Counseling Sessions.
7. Parents Interviews.
8. Student Council.
9. Group Counseling Classes.
10. Case manager to facilitate learning processes by accommodating learning environment for students who have (ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Epilepsy and Autism).
Main Duties:
1. Punctuality Improvement.
2. Monitoring Students’ Behavior.
3. Individual Counseling Sessions.
4. Group Counseling Classes.
5. Reporting to the counseling sector.
Teaching all subjects except English like, Arabic, Math, Science, Religion, Social studies and Art.
