•Develop, test, and maintain ETL procedures employing custom PL/SQL, OWB ETL, and UNIX shell scripts in support of Data Warehouse that are operationally stable, efficient andautomated.
•Constructs and maintains the data processing back end, ensures the timeline, currency, quality, and integrity of the data in the data warehouse.
•Ensuring the warehouse is populated with timely and accurate data.
•Explain and enforce Data Warehouse security policies.
•Work collaboratively with other team members on developing and improving standardized data management operations and improving data quality control methods..
•Ensure that standard practices and processes are followed while accomplishing all work activities.
•Guides and validates the technical tasks of junior team members.
•Assists in the development, documentation and application of best practices and procedures that govern DW implementations and operations.
Has overall responsibility and accountability for design, development, release and maintenance of data warehouse and services for ZAIN business requirements which support the management in decision making.
•Plans, designs, Installs, administers, troubleshoots and maintains all (Development, Test & Production) databases.
•Performs capacity planning according to ongoing business needs.
•Controls and monitors the migration of database related objects throughout the development lifecycle.
•Contributes to project activities by defining systems architecture, designing functional and technical diagrams, and supporting implementation.
•Ensure maximum database uptime based on established SLAs.
•Monitors and responds to hardware and software alarms using appropriate problem determination and management tools.
•Consistently strives to fulfill corporate objectives to deliver high quality services to end customers.
•Responsible for monitoring, supervision and controlling the overall environment, hardware systems, operating systems, software applications as well as cooling systems and all IT infrastructure components.
•Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution for multiple computer systems, including Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
•Monitoring system function and performance.
•Taking corrective action then provide timely escalations and notifications when required & Work closely with technical teams to diagnose complex problems and drive resolution to improve reliability, availability, and uptime of services.
