• Prepare consolidated & individual financial reports along with analysis.
• Prepare profitability & cash flow report against ongoing projects.
• Ensure timely month end closing which includes depreciation Amortization, Prepayments, Accruals, Supplier advances, VAT, Intercompany accounts, Bank reconciliation, Projects WIP, Sales & Cos.
• Setting up annual budget using zero based budgeting technique including revenue budget, payroll budget, purchasing budget, and consolidate to prepare budgeted financial statements.
• Review budgets, including capital appropriations and operating budgets, and communicated findings to senior management.
• Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist team to achieve their objective which require information related to accounting & finance.
• Leading treasury management activities by preparing forecast cash flow and maintain actual cash flow for fund release.
• Ensure timely issuance of vendor’s payments through TR, LC, TT & Cheques.
• Review vendor’s activity to ensure all monthly invoices have been received and processed.
• Participate in audits and other examinations of financials records, including provide auditor with reports and documents as required.
• Perform various account reconciliations and work to resolve any discrepancy.
• Set up and improved accounting systems and processes to meet business needs and maximize effectiveness of operations.
• Calculated VAT and submitted returns and upheld compliance with all applicable laws.
• Verify, record supplier’s invoices & reconciliation and prepare vendors aging report for higher management review.
• Create recurring journal of prepayments i.e., Staff & Vehicles insurances, & prepaid rents and run JV at month end in order to charge expense figure.
• Create Journals of accruals / provisions at month end. I.e., Utilities, Invoices not received against AMC.
• Prepare and process supplier’s payments as per agreed credit terms via online bank transfer / Cheque through approval procedures via ADCB online business banking
• Record & classify fixed assets by assign useful life and usage date in order to run the depreciation/ amortization via ERP AX dynamics periodically at month end.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Preparation of employee’s salary sheets by calculating their overtime, leaves bonuses incentives and their sale based commission and ensure staff is paid accurately and timely.
• Ensure posting of depreciation, prepayments accruals & provisions at month end closing.
• Manage inventory by keep tracking & recording of stock received & issued along stock taking on monthly basis to calculate the consumption of goods
• Verify Banking transactions on regular basis.
• Verification of regular receipts, payments, and journal vouchers.
• Verification of system in organization.
• Audit Sales, Purchase invoices and their related documents.
