- Responsible and accountable for both delivering of the agreed global & regional agenda and value of Ops Ex initiatives within the country
- Conceptualize, design, refine and implement Ops Process & Performance programs and define new programs for the country
- Oversee implementation and evaluation of various Ops Process & Performance programs and formulate program initiatives, strategies, and policies necessary to improve practices and processes in the country
- Maintains close relationship with the customers from the business development phase through the customer life cycle
- Develop project management strategy and direction for major projects and programs in line with overall country level strategy, business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies
- Build and develop understanding of customer requirements, suppliers, competitor activities and market trends to influence direction of major projects
- Lead the Ops Performance for the country to develop and implement functional strategy to identify, analyze and improve existing general business processes to reduce costs, defects/errors, rework and improve product/service quality in line with the country business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and
- Develop business processes to analyze and evaluate performance data, process controls, quality and timeliness of program deliverables, and workforce planning
- Drive the culture of continuous improvement across all sites within the operation
- Work in collaboration with other DHL sites and functions to maximize efficiencies and best practice
- Deploy a health and safety culture
- Deploy previous lessons learnt output and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Encourage in-house training capabilities and where in-house training is lacking, approve appropriate vendor training
- Partner with Business Development department to ensure smooth and successful transition of an opportunity to operations.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and initiative teams
- Manage the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements
- Managing and governing the DePICT project management methodology
- Ensure identification of project risks and implementation of mitigation actions and resolutions in a timely manner
- Deliver best practice project documentation, completed to quality standards, kept up to date, available throughout the project and maintained in the project database
- Review project portfolio performance against the business cases and implement action plans to ensure benefit realization
- Promote and support changes to continuously improve project management in alignment with international project management trends and Project Management Institute (PMI) way
- Overseeing all project activities both on-site and off-site and making sure they are completed as per the schedule and scope
- Provides technical advice and support to contract proponents starting with conception of contract service requirements through the execution, including the challenges and amendments of the service requirements.
- Capable of thorough incident investigation and determining causal factors using root cause analysis
- Understanding of safety procedure used in hazardous environments
- Implement Health & Safety training program for all employees in order to maintain their highest competencies.
- Working closely on Work Unit Rate (WUR) / Time Unit Rate (TUR) and LUM SUM projects
- Overview vision and review the Scoop of Work and examining site before the start of the project
- Provide strategic, operational, and fiscal leadership while working to reach the company’s long term goals and maintain organizational budget
- Set, managed, and reconciled accounts for multiple projects as well as general operational budget
- Researched Static VAR Compensator to make the transmission system flexible and independent in operation
- Increase the real power transfer across an inductive transmission line
- Regulate the terminal voltage in the middle of the transmission line and provide reactive power support
- Create a solution to supply a fast acting and adjustable amount of reactive power
- Static VAR Compensator is part of the Smart Grids
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities.
