o Designed & developed assemblers for Very Long Instruction Word processor
architectures, specially designed for carrier grade VoIP solutions. Major activities
included processor architecture studies, instruction set analysis for tools optimization, hardware restrictions and their seamless handling in assemblers, selection of development tools, and designing & developing assembler to generate ELF (Executable and LinkableFormat) files.
o Distinctive features of assemblers included C-like Syntax for assembly instructions and directives, embedded loops & data structures and ELF format.
o Developed cross-assemblers to read ELF files and generated assembly code to test and verify assemblers’ outputs.
o Implemented Transport Layer Security (TLS) in AVAZ video phone as per IETF RFC 3261. Major activities included studying RFC 3261, Identifying transport layer implementation in the program and adding code for TLS. Developed/executed test plan and acted as a testing lead for AVAZ phone project.
