Environment division acting head
• Ensure protection and conservation of environment from Company’s construction and operational activities.
• Ensuring all the applicable PME/GAMEP as well as international guidelines are fulfilled by all the plants/facilities.
• Organizing and preparing of source emission monitoring (Stack Testing) for 52 stacks, in Refinary, Monomer, Polymer and Utilities. Starting the contract phase until receiving the final report.
• Organizing and preparing of FEMS/LDAR fugitive emission monitoring system/ leak detection and repair for all complex, with over 300, 000 measured sources.
• Ensuring EMS (ISO-14001) for the entire complex housing 22 world scale plants.
• Assisting Environment Section Head in preparation of reports on environmental audits and interpretation of reports for management review based on audit findings and industrial environmental compliance.
• Reviewing of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) studies of the upcoming projects.
• Reviewing various EMPs of new proposed plants.
• Assisting Env-SH in mitigating the Environmental impacts during the erection and commissioning of new petrochemical complex.
• Reviewing the APC’s guaranteed performance against the PME, World Bank, IFC and Saudi Aramco regulations/standards.
• Preparing plans for Waste, waste water management during construction of new petrochemical complex.
• Impact assessment of treated waste water on Marine life, Shoreline protection, ensuring cleaning of coastal area.
• Supervising Annual Marine Survey, Berth inspection, auditing of Ship loading/ unloading activities.
• Conducting various field surveys e.g. Odor Survey, Illumination Survey and Noise Survey etc.
• Performance monitoring of Wastewater treatment plant, Sea Water Intake, Sanitary Treatment Plant and Wet Air Oxidation (WAO) unit.
• Conducting investigation of environmental accidents and suggesting measures to prevent recurrences.
• Participation in QSI, HAZOP, PSSR, JSA, Risk Assessment, What if, PHA, Walk through, MCC etc.
Hands-on & overall experience in Oil/Petrochemical Plants
Insure smooth work-flow between semi-vip customers and the company.
