• To carry out inspections and audits at all workplaces to identify unsafe plant, unsafe working conditions and practices and fire hazards. Reporting to appropriate Directors on the results of such inspections and making recommendations for remedial action and hazards identified.
• To ensure all accidents are correctly reported in accordance with the SOPs.
• To ensure that Safe systems of work are followed during routine work.
• To ensure Fire Detection and Prevention.
• Regular inspection of Environment, Health and Safety parameters in the Plant
CURRENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Carrying out Risk Assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
•Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account all the relevant hazards.
•Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
•Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
•Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
•Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
•To assist in implementing Policies and Plans for Environment, Health and Safety.
•To ensure Plant Safety and Implementation of Site safety and Health Plan.
•To act as First Person for Employees for any issues concerning Health and Safety in the Plant.

Worked as Site Safety Engineer, approved by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and SWCC.
Algihaz Company Limited is a major contractor on a turnkey basis, which includes procurement and construction of medium sized gas turbine based power plants, high voltage transmission lines up to 230KV, high voltage electrical substation both indoor and outdoor, high voltage and medium voltage switchgear, power transformers and associated accessories
