Inspection, Supervision & KPI Coating Survey of all Qatar Gas assets including on-plots areas, offsite, corridor pipes,
CSP, LNG Plants, LNG and LPG loading berths, utilities and other off plot areas.
2. Performs KPI Coating surveys to assess the exiting coating condition of piping, equipment and
structures and provide the coating recommendation.
3. Assess the integrity of coatings and reports atmospheric corrosion effects on coatings and other
corrosion damages to coatings applied to internals of vessels.
4. Participate in joint site visit with Operations, contractor, planner and other related department
and provide qualitative, economical solutions and assistance for maintenance execution.
5. Surface preparation & painting inspection of High built glass flake reinforced vinyl ester coating
for sea water supply pipelines internal surface.
6. Execute various inspections on surface preparation and coating application such as surface
profile checks, DFT checks, holiday test, adhesion test etc. to ensure compliance with the
painting specifications, procedures, and international standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, ISO etc.)
7. Verify the painting system applied as per the project specification, approved method statement.

8. Witness blasting/painting, insulation, galvanizing, fireproofing activities performed by the
Subcontractor as per the approved ITP.
9. Ensure blasting, painting, fire proofing, and insulation activities are strictly in compliance with
project/ client requirements and paint manufacturer recommended procedure.
10. Ensure that all approved paint product and solvent provided with product technical data and
material safety data sheet (MSDS).
11. Witness and perform all surface preparation and painting inspection related destructive test and
non-destructive test.
