Main Responsibilities:
Playing major role in the MS of the O&M of the Core WiMax Net,
responsibilities including:
1-L1 & L2 troubleshooting, Escalation to 3rd Party & Following up.
2-Guarantee Systems Interoperability.
3-Prepare Testing Scenarios and Perform Tests with SI (System Integration Team) in our LAB or in Vendors’ LAB.
4-Packet Analysis, Verifying Standard Compatibility and Approving batches, upgrades before implementing them.
5-Perform software upgrade, Test, and Acceptance: Review MOP, Assist/Load Upgrade, Follow checklist, Test, Track, and close MOP.
6-Participate in WCAT, UAT for both WiMAX and 3G, mainly operating on AAA and PC (Including OTS(Off The Shelf) service, Renewalplans service, PAYG basic Service and On-Demand Service)
7-Managing both AAA and PCRF using the GUI management tool (Service Manager) including (defining new Access nodes, defining new PC clusters, defining new PEP nodes, Mapping the Service Packages each to it’s proper package ID, defining new Profile set with all needed information such as Service Component, Vendor attributes … etc.)
8-Good Understanding of PRPC Protocol (Interface between PC and Cisco SCE)
9-Participate in Bridgewater PCRF and Huawei GGSN Gx Interface Test
10-Operate on Cisco SCE8000 (bypassing the traffic, monitor anonymous users, monitor unknonw user, enable/disable PRPC sessions with Policy Server, using the Reporter to generate different type of reports, define new profile sets and traffic filters …etc.)
11-Analyze & troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions
12-Apply and perform change requests and Lead MDTs during commercial launch
13-Monitor, Measure and Report the Progress and Performance status of core network platforms.
