Research Title Evaluate the Extent to Which Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) affects the Loyalty of Employees: The Case of TAMIMI Markets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Purpose of the Research To investigate the extent CSR can affect the loyalty of employees: The Case of TAMIMI Markets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Practical Issue to be addressed This study aims to investigate the extent CSR activities affect employee loyalty and examine the relationships between its social, economic, environmental, stakeholders, and voluntariness dimensions proposed by Dahlsrud (2008) with the determinants of employee loyalty namely employee commitment and employee satisfaction anticipated by Jun et al. (2006). It shall be conducted at one of the famous retail shops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia named TAMIMI Markets. Proposed Methodology To examine the extent CSR can affect the loyalty of employees at TAMIMI Markets, thirteen hypotheses have been derived to measure relationships between the CSR dimensions proposed by Dahlsrud (2008) and the determinants of employee loyalty anticipated by Jun et al. (2006) and May et al.(2004). Managerial and Non-managerial Questionnaire shall be used to test these hypotheses at TAMIMI. First stage will be to pilot the questionnaire which shall be distributed to 5-10 managerial personnel at the head office to obtain their comments and feedback for enhancing and fine tuning the instrument. The second stage will be the data collection phase in which the questionnaire shall be distributed to five TAMIMI branches along with its head office. The branches shall be selected as follows: - Head Office in Khobar - One branch in Jeddah - Two branches in Riyadh (one branch selected at the north district of the city and one from the south district) - Two branches in Khobar (one branch selected at the north district of the city and one from the south district) Basically, there will be two types of questionnaire; one for the managerial personnel and the other is for the non-managerial staff (cashiers, clerks, dispatcher, etc…).
