Duties
• Developing country strategic and tactical business plans (Includes sales, marketing and profitability)
• Distributor development and Direction.
• Managing distributors Sales and Distribution Activities directly and indirectly.
• Using Retail Audits to identify Gaps and opportunities and putting plans for covering them.
• Structuring procedures and reports used for planning and controlling (Sales, stock and marketing activities ).
• Closely Directing marketing and sales efforts to achieve planned results.
• Study any new business opportunities (New Channels, New products, etc…).
• Open new markets / businesses.

• General Business
o Consistent over-achievement in all categories every financial year
o Increase the business in Yemen to take number 1 position for both chocolates and biscuits within 2 years through planning and implementing a distribution plan to triple numeric distribution resulting in :.
210% Increase in Tiffany Biscuits business in 2 years
230% Increase in Chocolates business in 3 years
o Increasing Business in Iraq by more than 132%
o Increasing profitability for the whole region by 189%
• Restructuring of the department
o Installing a new reporting system with distributors (sales and stock, A&P budget, Distribution and forecasting) leading to better service and lower OOS.
o Working with customer service and planning departments to improve service levels and decrease lead-times for orders from 9 weeks to 4 weeks.
• Re-launch of Tiffany chocolates in all region successfully
• Launching Picadelli range across the region

Duties

Reporting to the Regional Manager SEMEA (South Europe, Middle East and Africa)
Job was to set - up a new Business Unit for consumer adhesives as per Henkel standards.
Duties:
•Fully responsible for all business aspects (Sales, Marketing, Personnel, Profits)
•Managing a team of 1 marketing product manager, 1 Unit manager, 2 Sales supervisors and 5 Van salesmen
•Selection and recruitment of distributors with sound business model
•Sales included direct sales and 2 distributors
•Set up the unit from the ground up (planning, hiring, training, launching, selling, marketing and financing)
•Working with Import and Packaging departments to realize cost savings in these areas
Developing marketing plans with product manager to ensure sales and profitability targets are met (media, promotions, copy, production, trade drive, POS material and research).
•Working with both Regional management and International Product Management (IPM) to launch the right products in Egypt according to IPM strategies.
•Conducting business reviews to Regional Management and Local Management about all aspects of business.

Reporting to the Retail Unit Sales Manager
Unit included Riyadh Retail outlets including supermarkets, self service and few WS outlets.

•Implementing Unit sales plans and achieving Volume, Distribution and Merchandising targets.

•Creating and maintaining Section Fact Book.
•Training and assigning routes and efforts for merchandisers.
