Responsible for presales activities in Kuwait market particularly for Zain B2B, enterprise, and government sectors. Developing opportunities and responding to bids by designing and promoting workable and cost-effective ICT solutions. Responsibilities include:
• Presenting and promoting ICT smart applications to potential customers, and educate them on managed smart ICT services, and associated value-propositions.
• Analyzing RFP documents and customer requirements.
• Designing complex solutions related to ICT infrastructure, ICT service platforms, and smart ICT applications.
• Developing go-to-market studies and productizing ICT solutions/services for enterprise market.
• Engaging with technical management, sales management, and partners in order to own and manage bids throughout pre-sales lifecycle.
• Assessing risks and associated cost impact and advise on solutions feasibility.
Responsible for identifying business opportunities through market analysis, promoting Huawei’s solutions in Kuwait market, developing technical proposals and solution designs that meet Mobile Operators demands, and assuring revenue growth. Focusing on Mobile Broadband, Core Networks, ICT transformation, VAS, and B2B services.
Major projects and solutions worked on includes Cloud Core Network (EPC, IMS), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC), IoT (including Smart Home and Smart Parking), Cloud PBX, and VoWiFi.
Designed and planned mobile core network.
Managed major core network projects including LTE/EPC Implementation, Packet Core Network Modernization, and DNS Upgrade.
Drafted and evaluated an RFP for Core Network Modernization including a complete Packet Core/EPC, IMS for VoLTE and SPR.
Prepared several analysis studies for the impact of new services and features on the performance of the network (DPI, LTE, CSFB, Fast Dormancy, APN redirection, marketing offers, etc.).
Planned and deployed end to end QoS for data services.
Planned a bandwidth management and service-based charging system for data services (Cisco SCE, CSG and Openet FusionWorks) to apply different packages/policies on data protocols usage and optimize the network bandwidth. Monitored performance, statistics and subscribers behavior.
Developed a set of web-based reports for network performance, statistics and quality of data services and VAS.
Managed Astellia SLA solution (probe-based tool) to assure agreed quality of service with corporate and VIP customers. QoS, satisfaction level check, subscriber’s activities trace and investigate degradation causes.
Identified network KPIs/KQIs and formula validation.
Acceptance tested new features and hardware/software network upgrades.
Supervised the design, planning & optimization of a multi-vendor core network. Managed an engineering team who was responsible for GPRS/Frame-Relay/ATM networks in addition to MPBN carrying voice traffic and SIGTRAN with applied DeffServ and Traffic Engineering.
Prepared the yearly plan and budget for the core network. Coordinated for new nodes installation and integration. Followed up the yearly projects’ execution and operation.
Studied electronics and telecom engineering courses. Did several researches on the convergence between telecom and IP networks.
