As part of my role as operations manager, and then director of operations at HRsmart - a global provider of SaaS Talent Management, I handled a multitude of tasks across different departments including but not limited to administrative, legal, HR, technical, business development, project management and customer service aspects. In further details, I assumed the following responsibilities:

Admin & HR Functions:
- Handling Lebanon Branch from an administration and management perspective.
- Overseeing general company office duties and day to day activities.
- Managing cost and budgeting, as well as proper purchasing process for ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Handling recruitment activities, performance evaluations along with matrix managers, as well as suggesting employee training programs and starting internship initiatives. All of which lead to growing the branch to double its size (40 employees) within 1 year and being constantly considered top performing team across all branches.
- Creating job profiles, employee salary scale, KPIs, as well as handling raises, bonuses, and compensation plans.
- Creating and standardizing HR processes, and utilizing HRsmart talent management solutions for streamlining such processes.
- Incorporating social media, recruitment agencies, and job fairs into our recruitment processes.
- Handling conflict resolution among employees.
- Conducting team motivational activities and team events.
- Handling legal aspects for the company.
- Hosting company meetings for team updates, as well as top management meetings.

Business Development & Marketing Functions:
- Handling and overseeing Business Development and Sales activities in Lebanon and Region, landing key regional accounts.
- Starting business development activities from scratch, and building the team to lead such activities in the region.
- Growing partnerships in the region, and providing proper facilities and support to partner success.
- Handling executive communication.
- Creating networking activities, including seminars, conferences, training programs…and participating in such activities promoting HRsmart’s presence.
- Handling client and partner contracts negotiations.
- Conducting market analysis and market infiltration studies.
- Creating collaterals in English and Arabic for promoting HRsmart solutions in the region.
- Working with web designers on creating and communicating new release details and updates to clients, as well as press releases.


Project Management & Customer Service Functions:
- Starting project management, implementation, and support departments and activities in ME, Gulf, India, the Philippines, and SEA, and directly managing the teams while monitoring and overseeing their success.
- Standardizing operations activities across our Lebanon, South Africa, and Philippines offices, and aligning them to our global processes.
- Handling key client implementations and ensuring high caliber and timely delivery.
- Acting as a point of escalation for any issues and activities in the region.
- Estimating time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects, along with developing project plans incorporating all project variables.
- Ensuring that appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan.
- Tracking, reporting and communicating trends in issues, customizations, action items and key business milestones for clients.
- Providing guidance to clients on HR best practices as it pertains to the Talent Management technology.
- Handling HRsmart Release management life cycle, and directly communicating with stake holders ensuring timely deliverables and release dates.
- Leading the technical team from both software development and quality assurance aspects to provide exceptional service, based upon my extensive background in IT and software development, interfacing with the managers for each department.
