Inspection and monitoring the works to ensure all Health & Safety Standards are complied.
Monitoring and ensuring that work-specific safety requirements are identified, explained to the workforce and implemented by the Contractor.
Monitor Contractors compliance of Workers Welfare Standards in construction site.
Implementing legal requirements and standards of ADPC by proper monitoring at workplace.
Monitor Contractors Health & Safety performance.
Ensure that all workers have attended site inductions and any further information and training needed for the works.
Review and recommend on status of Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans and procedures prepared by Sub-Contractors.
Review and approve Sub-Contractors Method Statements.
Preparing Risk Assessment as per ADPC format.
Ensure that suitable time and resources are available for all stages of Health & Safety Management System delivery.
Participate in H&S meetings and chair-record minutes of meetings.
Assist ADPC HSEE in monitoring and reporting of project HSSE performance and assist in the development and implementation of strategic solutions Review and recommend status of HSE Risk Assessments if requested.
Monitor site security in accordance with Clients instruction and approved Security Management plans and procedures as necessary.
Monitor accident/incident, investigations as well as statistical reporting as per ADPC & FINE Accident/Incident reporting system.
Advise and assist all appropriate managers/ discipline engineers in discharging their responsibilities for health and safety of employees and others to whom they have a duty of care.
Be aware of the requirements of Health, Safety and environmental legislation, particularly OSHAD, Labour Law, Ministerial Orders relating to safety, SC Health & Safety and Welfare Standards as well as ADPC Health, Safety & Environment Management Plan.
Advise management and employees of their responsibilities under the policies, manuals, procedures and current legislation.
Conduct Health & Safety on-boarding session with appointed Contractors.
Ensure that a weekly site management walk/ inspection and weekly HSE meeting are organized.
Complete weekly Health & Safety Inspection report via Intelex Site Inspection reporting tool.
Report weekly/Monthly HSE Statistics/record of Capriole to PGC.
Attend Weekly Progress & HSE meeting organized by ADPC.
Monitor and Report on the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the project.
Actively promote safety awareness and constantly review and update the site procedures.
Ensure that each employee has received initial HSE orientation before starting the work on the project site.
Conduct Safety talks briefings on work related hazards and safe working Procedures.
Maintain records and produce reports and statistics of all safety related incidents.
Investigate accidents/incidents including near misses, determine probable causes, and develop appropriate safety measures to prevent reoccurrence of similar incidents.
Perform regular safety inspections and audits in association with the senior site staff.
Be fully conversant with all Local health and safety at work regulations, code of practices and legal requirements affecting safety, health and welfare and liaise with government officials as required.
Ensure that all appropriate documentation is in place for mobile and static cranes.
Ensure that all Electrical installations are in accordance with recognized safety standards and all of them are tested on completion of alteration works.
Ensure that adequate equipment is available on site for firefighting purpose and all of them are maintained and inspected as required.
Prepare Emergency procedures in conjunction with the project manager.
Understand the requirements of client in order to carry out all safety activities.
Inspect the worksite daily to report and correct unsafe methods and conditions. Conduct daily and weekly safety toolbox meetings. Giving safety orientation to employees as per company policy requirement,
