Head of Information Technology Applications and business developments projects.
Handling and managing all the Information Technology Operations and project for any of the 9 Companies of the Group.
• Plan, manage and supervise delivery of IT systems and applications.
• Take charge of end-to-end quality of delivered solutions.
• Coordinate products suppliers and sub-contractors involved in implementing parts of the projects
• Handel customer and end user communication
• Improve end-user acceptance and adoption of software projects implementation by being personally involved in requirements gathering, facilitation meetings, product release reviews, and knowledge transfer, etc.
• Supervise applications quality assurance activates
• Perform project budget and cost estimation.
• Perform periodic reporting during project execution against planned time and budget and implement corrective actions of required.
• Planning for the Technology requirements of the competition venues.
• Managing the contractors for tenders and monitoring execution activities including installation and deployment.
• Managing the CAD Operators for designing the drawings of the venues and clarify the technology requirements in visual terms.
• Discussing and planning with contractors infrastructure design including CATV Network, Ethernet Network, wireless Network and Telephones network.
• Managing the technical supports for the Ethernet, Wireless, switches, telephones and PC’s during the Game for 16 hours per day.
• Managing the Network Connectivity between Venues and Qatar Olympic committee.
1. Role: Venue Technology Coordinator:-
• Planning for the Technology requirements of the competition venues.
• Coordinating with contractors for tenders and monitoring execution activities including installation and deployment.
• Worked with the CAD Operator for designing the drawings of the venues and clarify the technology requirements in visual terms.
• Discussing and planning with contractors infrastructure design including CATV Network, Ethernet Network, wireless Network and Telephones network.
• Design the cabling and the switching in the Main Media Center for Asian Cup 2011.
• Worked as technical support for the Ethernet, Wireless, switches, telephones and PC’s during the Game for 16 hours per day.
2. Role: Telecommunications Engineer:-
• Worked with Qtel in designing and installing the telephone services in the Qtel room in the venues and determine the type of the service “ Land Line, ISDN” according to the user requirements.
• Worked with Qtel in designing and installing the Internet connection in the Venues and determine the type of the service
“ADSL or MPLS”, according to the user requirements.
• Designing the Distributing process for the internet services in the venue.
• In charge of distributing the telephone services to the function areas in the venues, and designing the cabling and the patching for the telephones between Qtel room and IDF’s in the venue.
• Upgrade the Network from Workgroup to Domain mode.
• Installing and troubleshooting DHCP, and Active Directory in 2003 Windows Server.
• Adding Users and Computer to the Active Directory .
• Give IP Ranges and Reserve IP’s for some Network Printer and other certain devices .
• Monitoring, Supporting and troubleshooting Exchange Server on windows server 2000.
• Installing and troubleshooting ISA Server in Windows Server 2003 and editing Rules and Group polices.
• Adding PC’s or Laptops to the Domain, and Configure the Outlook with the employee’s e-mail account on the Exchange Server.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting Backup “Tape Backup”.
• Re cabling all the office with new cables and installing Ethernet sockets instead of male node.
• Managing the Construction site infrastructure, including installing printers, computers, laptops and building a network connections.
• Installing IIS on the Server and deploying some Web application like archiving and ERP system.
• Configure Virtual Private Network Connection with the main branch in Beirut
1. Role: Desktop administrator:
• Installing and troubleshooting operating System on desktop and laptops.
• Installing programs and troubleshooting for clients softwares.
• Installing and sharing printers.
• Installing network devices and configuring Workgroup connections between computers.
2. Role: Programmer and as a member of webpage Developer team :-
• Programming windows Application using C#, Java and C++.
• Programming Web application using ASP.net.
• Using MYSQL for Database on windows application or Web application.
• Designing templates and web Interfaces using Photoshop.
