Project Title: Design & Build of Roads, Infrastructure and Security System for Development of Government Building in Southwest of Country
Contract Value: US$ 110 million approx., Contract Duration: 455 days
Project Brief: The Project consists of the land, the buildings, and the on-site roadways and parking lots that a typical Border Port occupies.
• Managing the commercial administration of the Project in compliance with the Authority / PMC Project commercial administration procedures.
• Managing & checking of Contractor’s interim payment applications.
• Reviewing and address of Contractor / Clients variations and claims and
providing written responses.
• Managing the maintenance of variation and claims logs.
• Studying, preparation and providing recommendation for Variation Orders.
• Studying and preparing reports providing recommendations to the Engineer on claims submitted by the Contractor for Relief for Cost.
• Advising the Engineer on contractual issues as they arise.
• Chairing weekly Commercial Meetings and preparation of minutes.
• Chairing ad-hoc meetings to discuss claims.
• Providing Input to Monthly Progress Reporting as required.
• Participate in Monthly Progress Meetings with the Contractor / Engineer / Authority as required.
• Managing the Commercial Team by allocating specific sections of the work to meet the needs of the program, mentoring and training to ensure competence levels match the needs of the project and reviewing staffing levels
• Study contractual correspondence issued by Contractor and prepare responses.
• Review draft correspondence prepared by construction supervision team members and upgrade for issue.

Hamad Medical Corporation, Women Hospital Project - US$ 100
million
Member of Construction management team, looking after commercial aspects
of Hamad Medical Corporation, Women Hospital Improvement project.
The project is overall MEP upgrade of existing Women's hospital tower building,
for value of approx. US$ 100 million and duration of 2 years. The appointed
Contractors are M/s Hyundai and M/s Midmac.
Work includes Quantity Surveying, project reporting, Variations, Interim
progress payments, drafting contractual letters, advising team member on
contractual scope of work for their respected discipline.

• Construction of Al Shaqab Academy (Equine breeding / training center) - US$
407 million
• Construction of Underground Car Park - US$ 154 million
• Construction of Central Plant 7 (District cooling) - US$ 73 million
• Construction of The Learning Center (School Building) - US$ 73 million

• Energy Management System (Solar Micro Grid) - US$ 18 million
As a member of Project Management team, supervised various Building /
Infrastructure project at Design and Construction stages.
The responsibility involves were review and supervision of Cost management
works performed by reputed consultants namely KEO, Parsons, and D.G.
Jones.
It was mostly post contract work related to Variations, change orders and Claims
wherein estimate was prepared for the variations for client approval, Review of
price submitted by the contractor including quantity & unit rates.
In addition, participated in preparation of budgetary estimate for new projects
(Design and Construction Contracts), participate in review & preparation of
Tender documents. Commercial evaluation of Design and Construction
tender(s) and preparation of tender report

• EPC of new Ethane Recovery Plant
• Upgrade of Acid Recovery Unit
• North Field Gas Plant Upgrade

Member of Client’s team, overseeing 5 - 6 nos. of Oil & Gas projects at design
and construction stages ranging from US$ 45 million to US$ 350 million.
Responsibilities includes participate in preparation of Tender documents,
Commercial evaluation of Bids and preparation of tender report, review of
Variation & claims leading to contract variation. Processing of interim and final
payments and issuance of substantial and final completion certificate.
Forecasting monthly value of work done. Preparation of yearly CAPEX & OPEX
budget and AFE. Asset Capitalization.
Parsons Brinckerhoff

Construction of Roads, Parking and dismantled roads.
Worked for a construction contractor, the responsibility includes cost
management of multi-million dollar projects for construction of Highways,
Roads, and Parking. Work includes Quantity take off. Cost estimation,
Preparation of Tender Packages, Negotiation with Clients, Signing of Contract
Agreement, Joint Site Measurement, Preparation of Interim & Final Payments,
Obtaining claims for additional work & preparation of Variation Orders for cost
and/or time

Construction & refurbishment of hotels and resorts owned &
managed by company
The company owes Star Hotel & Recreation facility in Qatar suchas as
Sheraton, Marriott, and Ritz Carlton, for which construction & maintenance
department was established. Reporting to Project & Construction Director, I
was entrusted with the responsibility of preparation of Tender Documents,
Tender Reports, Contract Agreements, Valuations, Variations, Final Account
Statement, Practical & Final Completion Certificates, etc

Project: Expansion, Alteration & maintenance of Procter & Gamble
manufacturing industry.
The project was extension and maintenance of a manufacturing industry of
Procter & Gamble group. Work includes compilation of Scope of Work, Bill of
Quantity, Specification & Drawings and issue it for Tendering. Regular
monitoring of Projects with respect to Contract Duration, Addition & Omission
of Items of Works and other Contract related matters. Monthly Interim
Payments for the Contractor & Consultant were processed. Most of the works
were related to Construction of Steel Structures such as Warehouses, Pipe
Bridge supports, Overhead loading Platform, Motor Control Cabin, Cable Tray,
Working Platform and Concrete Structures were Tank Foundation, Pump
Foundation, Pedestals, Interior Service Roads, Floor Slabs, Fire Walls, etc

Projects:
• Laying of cross-country pipeline
• Capacity expansion of the refinery.
Assisting in Budgetary Evaluation, Cost Estimation, Preparation of Bill of
Quantity, Site Measurement, Running Bills & Final Bill Payments, Review of
Claims from Contractors, keeping records of the projects related to contractual
matters & payments, etc. Most of the job entrusted to me was mainly Civil
related with other discipline involved. The major projects were Laying of Pipe
Line from Haldia Port to Barauni and Capacity Expansion of the Refinery
