Successfully managed two projects for Karnaphuly Gas Distribution Company Ltd. and Titas Gas Transmission Company Ltd. with the budget of US$32 million and US$175 million respectively and achieved the project completion goals. Provide project lifecycle leadership over all phases of enterprise-wide IT system implementation for diferent JICA funded government projects. Prepare project documentation, deliverables, resource allocations and status; analyze project risks, costs, and benefits. Design, implementation, and integration of IT infrastructure, data center and software for diferent projects to ensure optimum functionality and better performance. Make work schedule according to plan and execute all stages of enterprise software and Datacenter infrastructure implementation. Assist to ensure business continuity and IT systems security to avoid potential threats. Supervise, assign duties, and coordinate work schedules of IT staf and assist them in resolving issues. Liaising with the project director and consultant, adapting to their IT requirements and implementing solutions as per contract. Review constantly the customer feedback and then suggest ways to improve the process and customer service levels which increase the satisfaction rate. Develop new business opportunities in target markets with support of marketing team and enhance companys business by representing products to potential customers.
Responsible for the implementation, administration and maintenance of virtual infrastructure located in U.S.A and Singapur datacenter using RHEV, ProxMox and Citrix Xen. Implemented failover clustered network in a datacenter and managed storage domain like ISCSI, NFS, DRBD, GlusterFS and Open-E cluster in SAN and NAS environment. Installed and managed Linux and Windows systems to run Web Hosting Panel (cPanel-WHM, Zpanel), eMail, DNS and MySQL/MariaDB database server with regular automated backup. Rectified many issues by instituting best practices in system log analysis, backups, user account/permissions management and systems/software auditing. Analyzed Cloud infrastructure of OpenStack multi-node services like Keystone, Nova, Glance, Cinder, and Neutron with installation, configuration and administration. Analyzed enterprise security technologies such as NGFW, WAF, Email Security, Endpoint Security and DLP using diferent vendors like SOPHOS, WatchGuard, Forcepoint. Successfully completed a project of Datacenter using Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) and SuperMicro Blade Server for TMSS Bangladesh.
Reengineered companys systems setup, establishing automated server monitoring routines, optimizing system performance, installing upgrades/patches, establishing system monitoring and maintaining security protocols. Oversaw customers computer networks and servers, which installed more than 8 datacenter and performed system maintenance on software, hardware and configurations when needed. Created a company-wide automated backup of all network settings and essential data and recovered information in various locations during system crashes. Corrected server configuration problems, wrote scripts to ensure smooth server/reboot functioning and assisted with a variety of Linux and Windows based inquiries and concerns. Implemented VPN connectivity and Next Generation Firewall (FortiGate) to secure sensitive data and prevent breaches from outside sources. Implemented virtual infrastructure (VMware Workstation/ESXi) and the company-wide email system (Zimbra) for diferent projects.
Successfully completed a project of GSM based intelligent surveillance security system for Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd, Social Islami Bank Ltd, Madhumoti Bank Ltd, and Mercantile Bank.
Implemented internet connectivity for about 88 end users through Linux Proxy server with bandwidth allocation for better performance of web access. Implemented VPN connectivity; access from companys 166 branches over public network. Installed and managed Active Directory, IIS, FTP and NFS in Windows Server 2008. Managed Web, eMail and database server with regular basis backup for disaster recovery. Analyzed and resolved issues related to LAN/WAN connectivity, hardware, Solar Management Information System (SMIS) software and operating system of companys 166 branches.
