Position: - Biomedical Engineering Manager
Key responsibilities: - Newly hospital setup 242 bed state of art technology with five-star suites, luxurious facility
tertiary care hospital facility including design review, MEQ planning, review technical and material submittal
, Manage BME project execution, resource deployment, and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are
completed on schedule. Assures that the BME equipment remains in compliance with the medical facilities
standards and best practices as per MoPH, Technical assistance to Procurement team and Project team about
Pre-installation/Installation requirements, operation & maintenance strategy, Supervision over testing,
commissioning, user training, handover of medical equipment, review policies for BME department, represents
from client side and adhere local and international guidelines. Lead a team of engineers/Technicians
Key Responsibilities: - My role in multi-specialty, high-tech 13 storey with 500 bed hospital with multiple specialized clinics as to
manage from concept design, construction, pre installation/ installations, operation, and management, leading a Biomed/clinical
engineer & technician team along with other engineering discipline represent from the client side. Following latest global healthcare
facilities protocols and various guidelines as per CBAHI, JCI and HiMSS 7, HL7, WHO
Client representative for ongoing Hospital expansion program for extra facilities i.e 17 stories North
Tower about 220 bed for Specialized centers and Digital OR and high-tech Imaging departments other than 200 bed existing hospital
for planning and preparation medical equipment selection as per latest specification, FF & FE, Design review and looking after
technical submittal activities.
Expert technical help for College for Health Sciences and 300 bed Long Term care Rehabilitation Hospital
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review technical specifications for medical equipment and furniture, perform technical
evaluation for equipment and furniture proposals, Provide cost estimates for medical equipment and furniture, Medical Planning with
related international guidelines such as VA, FGI, IHFG, HAAD, and AIA.
Medical facility planning to follow Protocols to be affiliated with CBAHI and JCI guidelines to get Certifications
Medical Cities Projects
• Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with Project from inception till the completion stage.
• Ensure the timeliness of pre-design and all phases of healthcare and project including technical feasibility studies, space
programming and operational departmental programming/ Programming for client’s specific healthcare project requirement.
• Supervision Consultant for ongoing Medical Cities Project.
• Administration Design reviews for the client Ministry of Health, Saudi Arab and Monitoring the Project Management (Biomedical
Equipment Installation / MEP activities by HILL International, HDR Consultant & AFTCO thru Riyadh based Project & Management

• Monitor the installation of the MEP system which is supporting medical equipment and report on any discrepancies with the
installation.
• Medical Equipment Planning to include room equipment lists, room data sheets, medical equipment loaded layouts, detailed
roomequipment layouts, specifications, pre-installation requirements,
• Actively Participation design development, modification and/or review of medical equipment planning concept and solutions, IFC,
Equipment Schedules, Specifications, Bill of Quantities, etc.
• Prepare and review technical specifications for medical equipment and furniture, Perform technical evaluation for Coordinators
and Procurement staff) and external contacts (Owner/Clients)
• equipment and furniture proposals, Provide cost estimates for medical equipment and furniture (FF&E), Medical Planning with
related international Coordinates efforts/communications between internal contacts (Equipment Planners, Project guidelines
such as VA, FGI, IHFG, HAAD, HTM, NFPA and AIA.
• Establish deliverables including timing of deliverables, construction, administration, equipment validation, procurement, delivery
and installation /commissioning, coordination of equipment compliant with JCI accreditation guidelines and CIBAHI regulations
and lead the hospital to activation
• Final responsibility for project information, budget numbers and deliverables
• Expert advice to the startup, testing and commissioning of all medical equipment and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the safety test and efficiency of Biomedical devices/patient safety.
• To execute report and assist in planning and leading audits of Biomedical Departments at various Hospital facilities.
• Managing a team of Engineers & Technicians.
• To provide expert advice in capital equipment purchases and budget preparation for Hospital project execution.
• Study, Inspection, Installation, calibration, commissioning, corrective & Preventive maintenance of the medical equipment’s
andacceptance of new equipment.
• Regularly works on medical equipment in patient areas such as, Critical Care Ward, Coronary care unit, Operating Theatres,
Surgical, Laboratory Equipment’s & Medical intensive care unit, Special Care Baby Unit & to make diagnosis on medical
equipment while it is still connected to patients.
• Manages and participates in and may teach educational programs to clinical and technical staff. Helps to mentor technical staff.
• Maintaining logbook of each equipment about stock of critical spare parts and their inventory.
• Daily follow up of customer credit documentation & inventory.
• Follow up of shipment installation, applications, via reports, follow up on collection issues.
• Knowledge and understanding of all Global Policies and Anti-competition Policies.
• Knowledge of all Environmental Health Policies and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Law is broken.
• Total Quality Management & Product Quality Management.
• Preparation of syllabi for Vocational training programs and Seminars and Workshops.
• Cardiac Networking System.
• An understanding of Risk Management generally and the impact on medical devices.
• Facilitates the conduct of clinical trials by working with clinical investigators.
• Provides detailed feedback for product improvement for existing products.
• Maintaining current knowledge of competitive technologies, including, medical technical and biomedical developments.
• Advising medical device procedures regarding prospective design improvements based on clinical experiences.
