· Conducting safety induction and assisting for toolbox talks with site supervisors Preparation of site specific, HSE plan for the project and implementation.
· Accident & Incident Investigation and Near miss Reporting, Review and study of accident case and implementation of new technique
· Hazards Identification & Preparation of risk assessment based on method statements along with risk assessment team. Before commencement of any new activity, Advise to the execution team for the existing control measures and Implementation
· Permit to work systems implementation (PTW)
· Inspect scaffold installation, erection & dismantling procedure or system, Advise basic requirement ensure to comply & follow the safe standard procedures.
· Gas Testing & Monitoring and analyzing before starting of work & prior to work in confined spaces using by multi Gas detector
· Conduct internal safety audits and report on the findings .Issue NCR’s in case of non compliances and follow-up on appropriate and timely corrective actions to all HSE issues and close out
· To Implement the HSE policy and government norms *providing continue education to project team & employees by internal occupational safety training to enforce them to Use & Care of occupational hazards and use & wearing of protective equipment.
· Fire prevention and protection, Use of firefighting equipment *Periodic inspection of fire extinguisher and suitability of fire extinguisher based on the class of fire. Coordinate and conduct emergency evacuation and rescue mock drills for different scenarios.
· To communicate and provide information to different levels of line management regarding the hazards and other OHS issues.
· Ensuring of Environmental protection and pollution control method to meet all regulatory code of construction and EHS practice to ensure health & safety
· Display safety publications, poster, Instructions to recognize and aware the employees able to understand of safety color code to eliminate the hazards.
· Conduct safety meeting & committee meetings at office premises and highlighting the safety issues and critical stages on project activities to the workforce and advise to ensure corrective & preventive action.
· Periodically inspection of power tools and hand tools and ensure of safety related device and guard installation.
· First aid treatment and basic life support or emergency life support .check first aid boxes on regular basis and replenish used items.
· Advice for the working at height, using lifeline and safety harness and fall arrest system
· Assist the high management of the HSE Department to implement system and HSE program by delivering information to Senior HSE Advisor and production staff. Prepare weekly and monthly HSE Report.
· Liaison with project management and coordinates in solving HSE issues, Initiate and co-ordinate motivational and award schemes
· Monitoring health & safety activity with Sub Contractors, Client and Local Authorities.
