Responsible for construction of
Buildings, Utilities and Infrastructure, each activity running on site respective to all jobs, having responsibility of documentations and reports to management.
- Report functionally to Project HSE Lead and Line Manager.
- Responsible for over-all aspects of day-to-day HSE Management on site.
- Responsible for the company management to establish, implement and maintain the HSE Management system in accordance with Saudi Aramco HSE policy, procedure & guidelines.
- Ensure that the Contractor and Client’s HSE policy and procedure are duly complied with
- Review Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Responding to unforeseen circumstances and taking appropriate action.
- Providing advice, guidance, and support to all personnel including Directors, Managers, Supervisors and engineers at all levels on all matters relating to Safety, Health and Environment in the workplace.
- Ensure that “Tool Box talk” is given to the Contractor work force on typical HSE requirements prior to work.
- Significantly involve in spreading HSE awareness, Assist hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Develop & analyze safe practices & safe work procedures. Setting realistic objectives, goals and targets while enrolling all personnel into the process.
- Assist and conduct training and induction program on HSE on and off the job
- Effectively interface with contractor when require
- Maintain a good relationship & effectively communicate on HSE matters
- Resolve minor HSE issues at site level, record issues for future learning/trends and raise major issues for greater awareness and resolution at higher levels, if required.
- Taking periodically Safety Internal Audit. Conduct and / or Participate in safety audits for Contractor and Sub Contractor
- Enforce the compliance of Client Site Safety Management Policy
- Monitor the procedure of the company’s accident reporting system and recommend and agree improvements where required.
- Closely work with Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention Department for developing programs & achieving safety goals
- Maintain an accurate HSE statistics of the company on reported accidents/ Incidents / Near Misses category wise and discuss lesson learned
- Advising about the strategies of the Safety Management System and implementing the strategy for Safety, Health and Environmental compliance in all locations in the region.
- Carry on risk assessment as per the scope of work and method statement
- Review Inspection, Test, Plans as submitted by the Contractors and ensure compliance with safety requirements
- Participate in weekly and monthly HSE meetings
- Arrange seminar/quiz annually to spread knowledge about safety in all aspects of life.
- Ensure that the relevant PPE is worn by every person on the work site.
- Monitor construction activities according to approved method statement and prepare Daily Reports.
- Periodic test and verification of safety equipment. (Fire extinguisher, Smoke detector, Sprinkler System, Fire hydrant etc.)

- Responsible for Safety Induction of all new employees
