Assistant Vice President & Relationship Manager Real Estate & Secured Finance Group.

Relationship Management:
• Managing a portfolio of AED 300 M+
• Enhancing the Asset & Liability portfolio by means of targeting new relationships & re-structure /re-schedule / top-up existing facilities.
• Credit Proposal write up, including the credit analysis, account conduct, and Moody’s Risk Rating.
• Follow up with stakeholders on the execution of facility (Engineering Department, Credit, and Operations)
• Supervising the documentation process from A to Z including the follow up with the Bank’s engineers for valuation of subject properties (Lands or Buildings).
Housekeeping Tasks:
1. Reporting on the existing portfolio performance, including the past dues, document exceptions, and Central Bank Risk Bureau Ratings & Limit Management System (LMS) feedbacks.
2. Conducting the annual account reviews of my portfolio.
3. Coordinating between clients and Collection and SAM department for account with defaults.
4. Internal reporting on the portfolio performance (Target, Pipeline, and Turnaround of transactions.

In charge of Policy & Portfolio Management reporting and IRB System monitoring (Moody’s Risk Analyst™). This pertains to a variety of tasks related to the implementation of Basel II requirements and reports to the Central Bank, Board of Directors and management of the bank.

Credit analysis of proposals provided from Business Banking and Contracting Finance departments, and reporting the financial and non-financial aspects of proposals and giving recommendations according to the credit policy of the bank.

Syrian Eurpoean Information Center is an information exchange network established by the EU to create ties between the MENA countries and the EU.

Heading the relay of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, I was responsible of the follwoing:
1- Information Exchange on different aspect of Trade and Economy with the Network.
2- Offering consultancy information to Syrian companies on EU countries.
3- Managing the match making process between Syrian companies and their counterparts in Europe via the Business Opportunities Platform.
4- Verifying and presenting the feasability studies of SMEs wishing to join the EU Fund program.
