Job functions and responsibilities:
* Review of drawings and project specifications.
* Estimation of the required steel tonnage and making bill of quantity.
* Update the assembly part list and create nesting of steel materials.
* Making of material request note for purchasing of required quantity of steel profiles and plates,
nuts and bolts, anchor bolts, paints etc.
* Prepare the cutting list of steel materials as per the drawings considering minimum wastage.
* Planning the job and issuing the materials for fabrication as per the requirement of the job to
the shop floor. And ensuring that the work is carried out properly.
* Ensure the traceability of the fabricated items as per the drawings and Heat Number.
* Responsible for making the Cutting and Drilling program as per the fabrication drawing with
Lantek Expert Cut software, and issuing the same to shop floor for fabrication.
* Organise all inspection reports as per date in the system and update it regularly.
* Analyse the reports from shop floor for improvement of the productivity and quality.
* Co ordinate with all departments to ensure timely delivery of products as per the schedule.
* Follow up with the shop floor & update stock on daily basis.
* Verify the production and productivity.
* Follow up with dispatch department for proper product delivery.

* Meeting regular sales targets.
* Recording and maintaining client contact data.
* Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
* Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
* Solving client problems.
* Providing training and producing support material for the sales team.
