- Sustainable Energy solutions for container terminals and other projects.
Fully responsible for Maersk Line containers specifications, design and innovation.
Technical interaction with container manufacturers, material suppliers, inspection and classification companies.
Making sure quality is controlled and maintained as well as performing audits in the containers factories.
Supervising container related ISO testing.
Providing containers maintenance and repair technical support for the local EMR teams globally.
Maintaining and updating container repair standards, technical bulletins, repair manuals, and rolling out repair and design initiatives worldwide.
Performing TCO analysis for containers and monitoring performance and cost development in the different countries.
Conducting EMR training for the local teams.
Performing audits for container depots & maintaining the Maersk Audit Strategy system for container depots.
Developing comprehensive schedules which reflect the appropriate time-phased completion of tasks and the application of required resources.
Developing and maintaining master integrated program plans and milestones within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost and quality.
Tracking and analyzing program performance variances and identifying conflicts in resource requirements, schedules and approaches.
Preparing and developing budgeting, CAPEX Planning, cash flow and all financial aspects for the 570m$ project.
Preparing & maintaining stakeholder engagement plans for the project.
Reviewing risk log.
Setting technical specifications and supervising commissioning of container handling equipment (incl. quay cranes, RTGs, trucks, forklifts, etc.).
Procurement of Equipment & superstructures incl. contracts negotiation & management.
Preparing project status reports to management, project team, regional and head offices.
Communication plan for internal and external stakeholders through implementation and update of Projects Intranet, internet website, notice boards and mail circulations.
Preparing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the project.
Engaging in safety adherence tours in the construction sites.
Implementing Lean and 6-Sigma methodologies in the project to save cost and ensure adherence to quality standards.
M&R Planning Superintendent (M&R: Maintenance & Repair) Responsible for organizing & planning of maintenance work orders, update PM plans, update & maintain department documents and manuals, maintain database of department system software IFS (Industrial & Financial System), prepare and monitor Technical KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for top management, follow up warranty claims against suppliers, maintain cost control, assisting in stores management, monitoring Quality Control, providing technical surveys and analysis for breakdowns & following up progress of MAGNET Programme.
Responsible for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of CHE (Container Handling Equipments) like Ship-to-Shore Gantry Cranes, Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes, Reach Stackers, Forklifts, Trucks, etc… Responsible for supervising mechanical servicemen assigned to jobs and ensure quality and safety. Responsible for commissioning and acceptance of two ZPMC (Zenhua Port Machinery Company) Ship-to-Shore Gantry Cranes and 10 RTG cranes for Suez Canal Container Terminal.
The job familiarizes the trainee to drilling techniques and machines, maintaining mud pumps and diesel engines.
Studies include: Effective Communication, Customer Focus, Management of People, HSSE and Finance, Accounting & Budgeting.
APM Terminals Global Management Programmes. Training is directed to middle management with the potential for higher local and/or over-seas position and must cater for container terminals’ short term as well as long term management requirement. (Courses will be updated accordingly)
