Overseeing the erection of the scaffold. Final inspection of the scaffold prior to initial occupation for use. At a minimum, daily inspection and documentation of the condition of the scaffold and its ability to be occupied safely. Inspections of scaffolds after changes / alterations have been made.


Responsible for ensuring standard and quality of work executed by ISP Contractors. Provides work recommendation and site advise to scaffold supervisors. Has frequent contacts with Operations and Plant Maintenance staff to ensure the on- going requirements for safely erected scaffolds are mainta

* Inspect scaffolds before initial use and after any modification or adverse weather conditions.
* Ensure all scaffolding systems comply with OSHA, CISRS, BS EN 12811, and company safety standards.
* Conduct daily inspections and issue scaffold inspection tags (Green/Yellow/Red Tag System).
* Verify scaffold foundations, bracing, ties, guardrails, platforms, and access ladders for compliance.
* Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions before scaffolds are released for use.
* Prepare and maintain scaffold inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.
* Coordinate with construction, maintenance, HSE, and scaffolding teams to ensure safe work execution.
* Ensure only competent and authorized personnel erect, modify, or dismantle scaffolding.
* Monitor compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) procedures and work-at-height requirements.
* Verify that scaffolding materials are free from defects and suitable for use.
* Provide technical guidance to scaffold supervisors and scaffolders on safe scaffolding practices.
* Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
* Ensure compliance with client specifications, project requirements, and international safety regulations.
* Stop or reject the use of any scaffold that does not meet safety standards.
* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure zero-harm objectives are achieved.

* Supervise the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems.
* Ensure all scaffolding work complies with OSHA, CISRS, and company safety standards.
* Plan and coordinate daily scaffolding activities with construction and maintenance teams.
* Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings before the start of work.
* Inspect scaffolding materials before use and ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Monitor work quality and ensure scaffolds are erected according to approved drawings and specifications.
* Identify hazards, implement control measures, and ensure safe working practices.
* Coordinate with HSE personnel to maintain a safe work environment.
* Ensure all scaffolding tags and inspection records are properly maintained.
* Supervise and guide scaffolders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
* Report progress, incidents, and resource requirements to site management.
* Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work procedures.
