- Developing the quality system including policies, processes and procedures for the ICIP Agency-wide and performance standards and indicators in coordination with the Fields and Head of units at HQ Amman
- Identifying and providing training tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality, performance standards and improvement of project management framework, performs induction training for the new staff
- Collecting and statistically analyses data for the performance indicators to identify potential improvement areas, calculates the associated costs where applicable and assists in research for the Programme,
- Participating actively in the examination, monitoring and updating of technical Instructions, procedures, forms to be used by Field staff in supervising the execution of works and other quality assurance/ quality control and project management tools in ICIP,
- Coordinating with staff to incorporate new work methods, supports the ICIP mission and aim in respect of the continual improvement of quality, value for money, risk management and safety policies, application of environmental and health/ safety standards,
- Conducting Programme performance audit and evaluation on how the performance standards and projects are being managed against the set indicators and frameworks and recommends improvements,
- Liaising with managers and staff throughout the Programme to ensure that the quality assurance system, performance standards and project management frameworks are functioning properly,

-Managing the division, planning for and following up the completion of the required tasks
-Participating in preparing the department strategic plan and budget
-Following up and assuring the implementation of the certification and surveillance processes,
-Marketing activities
-Arranging and lecturing in seminars
-Forming the technical committees
-Auditing the quality management systems of the companies to be certified according to ISO 9001:2000 requirements
-Assessing the technical capabilities of the engineering companies in certain sectors
-Training of employees and students on the department activities
-Evaluating the performance of the employees


-Preparing and documenting the complete quality management system of the certification department (including the quality manual, the work procedures, the work instructions and the work forms, the job description, organizational structure, cross reference list and the relevant appendixes) according to the requirements of the ISO guide 65, ISO 9001 and the related JISM instructions for certification,
-Following up the implementation of the quality management system and reporting to the management on the performance of the system
-Representing the certification department in the Quality Committee and participating in the Internal Auditing process for JISM IMS,
-Preparing and following up the implementation of the Internal Audit plans
-Auditing the quality management systems of the companies to be certified according to ISO 9001:2000 requirements,
-Participating in the committees qualifying the organization for obtaining the King Abdullah II award for excellence

- developing, modifying and designing the company products to achieve better performance and to meet the new requirements of the contract and international standards and to facilitate production,
- preparing production tables showing all needed information that are related to the production processes and the materials provision and purchasing,
- following up the production process for some projects, preparing plans showing the work stages,
- preparing all the required documents according to the requirements of the quality management system and the ISO-9001 standard,
- preparing design calculations,
- visiting work sites to solve problems or to supervise installing new designed parts.
