• To ensure all safety measures are implemented as per HSE plan
• Prepare E&I procedures & Inspection test plan as per client specification’s and project requirements and Coordinated E&I Quality Control & Pre-Commissioning activities for project.
• Review complete vendor packages and quality control procedures like FAT, ITP, packing & preservation procedures for getting the client approval in line, adhering to client requirements for other sites.
• Arrange other site client inspections for installed E&I equipment’s and enabling the installation works to proceed further within the time limits of the project. Prepare Electrical and Instrumentation energizations packages. Monitoring E&I Pre-Commissioning & testing activities.
• Prepare Electrical dossiers and handing it over to client etc.
• Development and Implementation of Project Specific Contract Quality Plan, Procedure, work instructions and quality Control plans.
• Ensuring use of latest revision of all Contract Documents, Contract Specifications and engineering reference and Standards.
• Internal Auditing, Verification of quality records and follow up of corrective actions, at various project Sites.
• Identification, investigation, resolution and close out of Non-conformities. Control further processing of Non-conforming items, deficiencies or unsatisfactory condition until rectification & any remedial action is approved.
• Interpret different types of instruments design particularly in DCS, SCADA, PLC, wiring interconnection, process flow diagram, P&ID and ILD.
• Designing of Logics, Graphics and layout of drawings and download & upload to PLC, SCADA and DCS.
• Commissioning in Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and power generation system, metering skid, RTU, SCADA, air compressor, fire & gas control system, DCS all types of instrument interlock to auxiliary and ESD system as described on P&ID and cause on effect drawing.
• Ensure that work is being carried out as per specification and approved drawings.
• To make sure that the required tools, equipment and consumables are available at site.
• To Carries out final inspection and test on plant / equipment following repair.
• To check, calibrate and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic instrument and controls and protective interlocks.
• To read P & IDs, Loop diagrams and Instrument layout drawings.
• Direct all Construction activities carried out by instrument and electrical disciplines.
• Conversant with static and rotating equipment, power generation, electrical distribution, gas engines, centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, systems and process control systems.
• Lead teams of contractor’s and vendor’s technicians for construction and maintenance work as required
• Ensures that plant and equipment is maintained according to compliance and integrity standards in order to meet expected reliability and ‘uptime’ Key Performance Indicators.
• Liaises closely with Production Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams in activity planning, engineering change and cost control.
• Ensures that procedures for the safe execution of tasks are in place and adhered to (including Task Instructions, Permits-to Work, Task Risk Assessments, and Toolbox Talks).
• Ensures that all activities are accurately recorded in the maintenance management system, providing all necessary reports to the Operations support team.
• Introduces new maintenance systems and procedures which will improve the effectiveness of the maintenance performance with regard to asset and integrity program.
• Provides leadership for the effective achievement of the functional departmental objectives - setting individual goals and managing performance. Supports OJT program.
• Exhibits and maintains excellent working relationships with all staff.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement to the facilities.
• Reporting to Engineer, Sr. Engineer and Manager related work progress and for further instruction.
Familiar in various Electrical and Instrumentation activities related to DCS, PLC & SCADA, MMS, MCC, SWGR, PCC System, Hardware installation and associated cabling and all other field Instruments such as Foundation Field bus, Smart Transmitters, all type instrument calibration, installation, Process impulse tubing, Pneumatic tubing, Cable Glanding and terminations, Loop checking & Pre-Commissioning and commissioning activities.
•Inspection of Installation of DCS, PLC & SCADA, CCTV access control System and all other Field Instruments activities etc.
•Schedule weekly meeting with the client and also with supervisor, foreman and discuss project status / issues, resolutions and other related matters.
•Inspection of installation of System 1100 of YEW, Vibrations and Speed pick-up and Drain Oil Systems, H2 and seal oil & seal steam system on Turbine.
•Familiar with International standards like NACE, ASTM, BSI, IEC, IEEC, DIN, ANSI, API, NEC and NEMA etc.
•Responsible for checking, verifying and Reviewing the Construction Drawings, Covering Specification, IFC, P&ID, ILD and other attachments.
•Familiar in various Electrical and Instrumentation protection inspection activities related to DCS, ESD, MMS, PLC & SCADA, MCC, SWGR, PCC, DEH, TPS and TSI Systems Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning and reliability test.
•Assist negotiators in negotiation field changes in connection with electrical portion of contract revisions. Reviews contractor’s proposals for changes to contract plans.
•Arrange inspection of construction activities with the client as inspection of Underground and Aboveground cable laying, Instrument/control/signal cable, Power cable, Cable trench (excavation and backfilling), Cable tray, Conduits, Safety and Instrument Earth, Junction box/panel/cabinet/console installation, Instrument and Support installation, Equipment (UPS Panel, Batteries), Cable Glanding & termination, Loop activities as per approval drawings in field and Control room.
•Familiar with the inspection of all type of instruments like transmitters, control valves, on-off (Shut-off) valves, switches, controllers, gauges, impulse line hook-up, pneumatic line hook-up, junction box installation, system cabinet installation, cable tray & lighting installation, power receptacles, welding receptacles, power distribution panel installation, switch gear installation, cable installation & megaring etc.
Have experience field to DCS related instrumentation, Construction, commissioning and maintenance and control system. All type transmitters (Pneumatic & electronics), switches, controllers (Pneumatic & electronics), level troll and interface level troll, converters, calibration, Installation, tubing, impulse line work, line testing, cable laying, termination, loop checking, megaring, modification, rectification, pre-commissioning and commissioning, troubleshooting as per P& ID .
Control valves, ESDV, SDV, Calibration, upgrading, overhauling, installation. Functional and stroke check. Thermocouple, RTD Installation and solenoid valve. Vibration panel, Relay panel, FSC Panel, Aux panel and others all type panels erection, assembling, internal and external wiring termination, loop checking as per system drawing. Fiber optic and co-axial cable laying, termination and connection system.
Flow control; rate control, ratio control, cascade control, level control direct, indirect operated devices. Sample system tubing work as per drawing. Junction box frame and Air header fabrication and installation, Air line, Conduit, tray work done. Punch list work done. Preparing report, calibration sheet and work sheet etc.

Responsibility Covers to maintain all quality programs to stabilize the quality control procedure and inspection and test plan, As per approved engineering drawings & documents by client, Be properly implied upon the work pack completed by the construction department. The main activities of job are changeover for all remote telemetry system to C3000 control system cabinets and related panels, Installation of Marshaling cabinets, DCS system Cabinets, PLC cabinets, BBU cabinets, F&G cabinets, Server networking cabinets, RTU cabinets, ESD cabinets, Installation of Console, Installation of RIB, Installation of JBs, Disinvestment of all existing JBs, Cabinets, Consoles. Etc. Cable tray installation & modification, Conduit Installation, Installation of transmitter, Switches, Control Valve, MOV valve, ON/OFF vale, Installation of cable pulling, Glanding Termination, Signal, Control, Power, F.O, System Cable, Bench & field Calibration Testing of All type of valves, Transmitters, Switches, Gauges, Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Vibration. Etc.
• Involve in Loop checking for Witness, Preparation & Review of loop folder, For close the
loop folder to turn over package.
• Maintain daily progress reports & preparation of two week look ahead schedule, loop checking schedules.
• Maintaining records as per project standards. Material take off, co-ordination with consumable store and plant material store. Checking the records and reconciliation of materials and controlling over the wastage of the materials.
• Inspection of all installed field instruments and JB, cubicles, tray work, impulse tubing, airline, power distribution panel, UPS, MCC, PCC, switchgears, transformers, DCS, PLC & SCADA.
• Inspection of instruments calibration as transmitter, control valve, damper valve, solenoid valve, shut-off valve, hydraulic valve, LVDT, switches, thermocouple, RTD, level troll, recorders and indicators etc.
• Preparing the turn over package (T.O.P) binders to hand over each system from construction to commissioning team. Preparing end of erection (E.O.E) files and site work conformity files (SWCF) for all systems as a final document handed to the client and stored in the project library.
• Attending Factory tests for MV cables, Oil filled & dry transformers, site testing and commissioning for medium voltage, low voltage and control cables.
• Daily inspection of construction activities to ensure matching with the method statements & project quality plan.
• Preparing necessary reports such as discrepancy and non-conformance reports and record them in the logs. Reporting to engineers and manager related project progress, work status, issues and discuss about resolution.
