Functional Duties:
Validate integrity of equipment data entry ensuring all required parameters are entered correctly. Keep accurate equipment inventory records.
Ensure work orders are being filled properly with the opening and closing time, date, downtime and idle time reported properly.
Maintain and keep up-to-date all spare parts, service reports, and contracted equipment data.
Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts in order to fulfill maintenance requirements, and manage the medical engineering stock in order to minimize the down time of equipment.
Maintain biomedical stock by anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.
Maintain the database of sources for repair spare parts.
Coordinate sent for repair items or outside services, making sure that procedures are carried out properly, and manage on having the down time of the repair as low as possible.
Audit completed work orders and make sure proper documentation of:
- Reported problem
- Action done
- Work order type
- Problem Failure
- Correct spare parts
- Repair downtime
- Outsourced downtime repair
Generate reports and KPIs required to monitor the medical engineering shop activities.
Maintain and prepare all requisitions on the ORACLE system and ensure approvals.
Insure the accuracy of all testing equipment and analyzers at the medical engineering shop.
Insure that the proper action and documentation is done on Equipment Hazard Notices and Recalls, and internal incident reports.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare monthly biomedical reports such as Delayed sent for repair equipment, Installed/junked equipment, etc as well as yearly reports as requested by the administration and the Medical Engineering Director.
Coordinate with BMET Chiefs to ensure internal procedures are followed and implemented properly, including installation of new equipment, repair, calibration, acceptance of new received equipment, and ensure that all related data are entered properly in the database.
Maintain safe, neat and healthy working environment.
Insure that all required preventive maintenance procedures and forms are generated and compiled in the Equipment Maintenance INFOR software application which includes fine tuning, further customization and training of users.

Starting October 2012, I started working as a Freelance Movie Translator (Eng-Ar) and (Ar-Eng). References are available upon request.
