Working as part of Infrastructure Management to design and implement LAN, WAN and WLAN in British telecom.
Collecting requirements from clients, prepare Network Design & BOM (Bill of Material) required for LAN, WAN, WLAN.

Preparing logical network design in Microsoft Visio and documenting changes.
Preparing device configuration for network implementation.
Responsible for testing the network after implementation is done.
Working on network tickets related to LAN, WAN and Wireless issues.
Troubleshooting and fixing of link down, Flapping, Erroring, Packet drops, Latency Issues.
Troubleshooting Microsoft Lync issues like Lync Conference Calls, Lync call forwarding, Sign in issues etc.
Implementing changes in the network.
Configuring DNS for requested IP addresses and hostname through Proteus.
Performing Health checks, Verifying Real server, Probes for GSLB/LSLB.
Working on Protocols like OSPF, MPLS, BGP, VRRP.
Provide concise updates to management on critical issues / Major Incident.
Join and participate in Major Incident conference calls to troubleshoot high priority incident.
Coordinating with Data Centre and local site Engineers for replacement, reseating, break fix of faulty devices and changing of the cabling related issue.
Engage L3 resources when needed.
Ensure proper updates are made to site documentation as well as topology maps as changes are made to the network.
Handling all over world 1400 HP Sites Level 2 issues.
Monitoring of the customer network using various tools like - Netcool, Magic, Nagios.
Notifying the customer and internal stakeholders of the fault and the impact to the network.
Support for Managed enterprise network of multiple customers spread over multiple countries.
Working experience on OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, HSRP.
Hands on experience in Maintaining and troubleshooting of Cisco Devices.
Coordinating and Escalating of issues to Different Service Providers for the WAN outages to resolve the issue well within the SLA.
Coordinating with Data Centre Engineers for replacement, reseating, break fix of faulty devices and changing of the cabling related issue.
Engaging with the service provider in performing the tests on the live network to isolate the issue.
Remote support & co-ordination with Field engineers to resolve faults.
