Joined UNDP’s project Merged Area Governance Program to work with the Government of Khyber Pukhtonkhwa, Pakistan and assist them in their Tribal Decade Strategy plan to merged the war-torn districts of FATA. Appointed to help the government setup their procurement departments and conduct procurement as per UNDP and KPPRA rules to ensure the initial budget of 10billion is spent efficiently.
District Procurement Officer, Pakistan
Helping KP government in implementing, establishing and executing KPPRA rules in merged districts to bring them up to par with the rest of the province and develop a procurement department at the district level so that all procurement activity is conducted efficiently and in a timely manner.
Key Accomplishments:
 Provide technical assistance on procurement activities to district administration in the areas of Procurement planning, preparation of bidding documents. Terms of reference for hiring of consultants, bid evaluation etc.
 Implement Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) procurement rules and laws.
 Develop government counterpart awareness and capacity on procurement guidelines and rules.
 Work with government counterparts and stakeholders to ensure procurement timelines are met.
 Consistently update MAGP team on progress of procurements.
 Conduct capacity development program for vendors in merged areas.
 Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of public procurements in the district.
 Provide support and work closely with the office of Deputy Commissioner Office of the district.
 Maintain an updated procurement documentation trail.

Seamlessly shifted between long term strategic projects and short-term tactical initiatives REPID undertook over the past few years with various international organization and local and foreign donor agencies.
Supply Chain/Procurement Consultancy
Produced RFQS, RFPS, and Invitation to Bids and vet different technical and non-technical quotations, Bids, Logistics, and the entire Supply Chain of various goods. Build collaborative rapport with the suppliers placing bids for food items, Pumps, and equipment related to schools such as Furniture, Boards, Uniforms, Stationary Items etc. in strict compliance with donor agencies instructions. Coordinated with local logistic companies for various transportation from source to destination.

Supply Chain Manager
Tibolli LLC has two brands of professional hair care products namely Tibolli and GKhair. Manufactured in 4 countries including USA, Italy, Brazil and China and supplied across 75. It currently has 8 warehouses globally with 350 plus SKUs. Offices are located globally in various countries and the Islamabad office serves as the head office. I was hired as a Demand Planning Manager and within 6 months I was given the global Supply Chain Operations. Tasks Include:
• Manufacturing : Manage, Plan and Coordinate Production with Suppliers and team members in USA, China, Brazil and Italy daily.
• Strategy : Chalk out annual strategy, negotiate rates, MOQ’ and finalizing contracts with all manufacturers and suppliers.
• Procurement : Manage the entire Procurement process. Proactively monitor and expedite purchase orders to agreed SLAs with suppliers and internal customers. Annual Spend 20m Dollars.
• Inventory Management & Warehousing : Manage, monitor and maintain inventory in various warehoues globally.
• Team Management&Capcity Development : Managing, training, leading, developing and supervising all supply chain staff including procurement teams.
• Finance Liason : Lias with account payables and receivables on daily basis for timely payments to suppliers, reconciliations, price variations, settlement of any disputes with distributors, inventory valuations and budget analysis.
• Data Analytics: Provide analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of S&OP data reporting (sales, production, inventory, project risks, uncertainties, etc).

Demand Planning
• Cost Analysis: Reduce working capital by analyzing & controlling all aspects of demand and supply.
• Demand Plan: Coordinate development of product forecasts by region over short/medium/long term planning horizon (ie. 12+ months rolling forecast). I have managed to increase forecast accuracy by 85%. Generation of the demand plan and sales forecast between a consistent 12-month horizon.
• Modeling Demand: Analyse key customer ordering patterns, product sales trends, and the impact of Product/Marketing plans on the various regions across the globe to improve predictability of forecasts.
• Inventory Forecasting: Share forecasts with suppliers and 3PL’s, working with them to optimize material availability and minimize obsolete/over stocks.
• Managing Demand & Supply: Managing the order process through to delivery while identifying potential product shortages and resolve with appropriate techniques such as expediting with suppliers/forwarders.
• Sales Coordination: Monthly coordination with Sales teams on promotion timings, distribution tactics, sales periods, regional sales trends, planned intake and stock covers to develop an aligned “commercial” demand forecast.
• Finance Coordinating: Lead any stock analysis required for audit.

Procurement
• Reporting: To the CEO and managing more than 25 sales and procurement staff including buyers.
• Strategic Planning: Prepare annual strategic plan and the budget of the department.
• Stake Holder Management: Worked regularly with the CEO and CFO to discuss and implement cost savings/cost cutting and operational improvements in procurement.
• Procurement Management: Review purchasing files and records, price lists, the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, locate suppliers, approve bills for payment, monitor subcontractor performance and ensure invoices are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• SOP Development: Developing procurement procedures and systems of control.

• Additional responsibility of heading the operations of two companies that include Pineapple Technologies having 7 retail outlets across UAE dealing in mobiles, mobile accessories, repairs and other electronic gadgets and Pineapple Technologies and Toscano projects in Qatar which includes two outlets.
• Preparing Project Initiation documentation, managing the entire life cycle of a new retail outlet from branding to realizing the project including designs, approvals, permissions, construction, staffing, inventory, maintenance and sales vis-a-vis a turnkey solution for a new project.

• Established a centralised Purchase department of Samsons Group of Companies.
• Developing the organisation's purchasing policy & strategy and its SOP’s. Developed strategies to reduce vendors from 65 to a group of 30 core partners resulting in cost savings due to reduced administrative costs as well as quantity price breaks.
• Sourced and negotiated pricing for 450 items with an annual purchased value of 13% of the group’s total revenue.
