Based on the experience as a Linux-SA Engineer it was relatively easy to start the Cloud Computing Project which can be divided into two main parts.
A: Design, Build and Operate Muti-node Cloud Implementation, which involves the following:
1. In-depth knowledge of Openstack cloud projects (Nova, Glance, Keystone, Swift, Quantum and Cinder)
2. Design and Build virtualization infrastructure based on KVM and Libvirt API Module with Virtualisation Security in mind
3. Design and Build Cloud Imaging Service "Glance" for Platform and Application Virtual Machines
4. Building Cloud custom application images
5. Design and Build Cloud Authentication and Authorization Service "Keystone"
6. Design, Build and Integrate Openstack Cloud Computing IaaS infrastructure "Nova"
7. Design and Build Cloud Computing vNetworking "Openstack-Network and Quantum" and intergrate it with the existing physical infrastructure
8. Integrate VPN access into the Cloud Infrastructure
9. Apply security procedures and investigate potential vulnerabilities
10. Migrating Applications/Servers from legacy environment to Cloud Iaas
11. Desgin Volatile/Ephemeral Cloud Storage as part of the Virtualisation Infrastructure
12. Design and Build Presistent Cloud Storage "Nova-Volume and Cinder"
B. In order to build a reliable Cloud Iaas, HA Clustering and Load Balancing must be the ground on top of which a Cloud Controller is built, which involves the following technologies:
1. Pacemaker Resource Manager
2. Corosync as Cluster Messaging
3. Redhat CMAN
4. GFS2 Filesystem
5. OpenISCSI SAN
6. DRBD two nodes LAN RAID1
7. HAProxy
8. Galera MySQL Cluster
1. Engineering of SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs
2. Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
3. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
4. Contribute to and maintain system standards
5. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
6. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
7. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
8. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
9. Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
10. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
11. Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues
12. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
13. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary
14. Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs
15. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
16. Perform hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
17. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment
Designing, Building and Testing Passive Network Infrastructure "Copper and Optical Fiber" Horizontal, Cross-Building and Metropolitan Area Network Backbones, Some of clients are:

1. Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
2. Setting out and surveying the site
3. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations "AutoCAD"
4. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
5. Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials
6. Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
7. Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect
8. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
9. Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
10. Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
11. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
12. Planning the work and efficiently organising the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
13. Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site
14. Preparing reports as required
15. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
