I am working on understanding the pathophysiology of Osteoarthritis (OA) and identify plant derived drug molecules for its treatment. I have published couple of papers including the role of (1) stress granules and (2) autophagy in the pathogenesis of OA.
I worked on role of miRNA 29a in the pathogenesis of HIV-1. This work is published in Retrovirology. The other project I worked on is the role of exosomes in the viral replication/persistence. This manuscript is deposited in bioarchive (https://www.biorxiv.org)
I worked on developing in vitro transcription system for negative strand RNA virus (PPRV) as well as posttranscriptional modification of viral RNA by viral polymerase.
